"Best stay ever"

I have the best time at the Maryborough Hotel. I went for a little R&R and had a spa treatment. Being able to use the thermal suite as a guest was phenomenal. Natalie greeted me on arrival and was so welcoming. Kevin and Pam made my breakfast every day really memorable and enjoyable. I can honestly say, I have never experienced such great hospitality. I’m already planning my next visit!

"A little gem in Cork city"

I love this hotel and have stayed there a few times now. The staff are super friendly, food is very good and I particularly like the breakfast especially the porridge. The beds and pillows are excellent for a great nights sleep. Locations is nice and quite.

"6 Star Service"

We are a family with 3 children so suitable affordable connected hotel rooms are difficult to come by, especially booking last minute as we were. From the minute we called the Maryborough to book we experienced excellent service. Our room requirements was not a problem at all and they gave us excellent connected rooms with dinner included in a package. The location is fantastic for families, an easy drive to Cork city, Fota Wildlife Park, Cobh and Spike island. The gym class I joined was excellent, the leisure centre pool was very child friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff in all areas of the hotel were above and beyond helpful, nothing was a problem. The carpets, paint and decor were a little tired but I would prefer the family run Maryborough over a modern, highly furnished chain hotel any day.

"Fabulous Weekend Stay"

We had a fabulous weekend here - we were upgraded to a suite and it was superb. The staff were beyond helpful throughout our stay and the antique decor just added more charm to our stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for a weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is beautifully surrounded by tranquil woods and well‑kept gardens. The staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive throughout our visit.
