Kamway Lodge & Travel - Hostel

Lots of room between the beds. You weren't on top of each other. Super clean and really nice bathroom. Close to shop, food carts, metro. You can get a free bus from laguardia airport.

This was an airport stop over, so pleased we only spent 5 hours there. It felt like it needed doing up drastically and a good deep clean needed. The guy on the front desk was lovely though and went above and beyond what we expected

Late check in was no problem but room was noisy and not clean.

Friendly staff, very basic amenities, no kitchen, no laundry.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is THE WORST place to stay! There are no wash clothes, no soap, no shampoo, flat pillows, nasty towels, busted toilet, torn shade, metal bunk bed, and a box spring for a mattress. There’s a pipe at the ceiling that the tv antenna cord is wrapped around. Two hangers on the water pipe on the ceiling. Blood stains on the floor. Do NOT stay here! This should be shut down! Only saw the msn twice. He barely understands English. You can’t get extra towels, pillows, or blankets. You’re lucky to get the ones they give you.

This was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. It should not be on hotels.com. It felt like a homeless shelter. There was dirty water in the sink, the curtains were falling off, I slept on a towel because the bed was not acceptable. I did not feel safe - the door didn’t seem to lock from the inside. I’m just glad my wife wasn’t the one traveling alone.

Unfortunately, there was nothing i liked about my stay at Kamway Lodge. The room was not very clean; dirty floors and bathroom; cobweb and dust buildup on lighting fixtures; grimy tv screen that i had to clean as i couldn't bear watching in such condition. The worst thing was dirty linen which i had to ask them to change twice since the first time they replaced dirty linen with more dirty linen. The double bed was as hard as rock which i couldn't sleep on lucky there was also a bunk bed in the room that i had used instead. There was also a window AC that wasn't installed properly and so cold air draft was coming into the room which was especially bothersome at nights. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The stay was plesant and the rooms are modern along with the bathrooms. The room I stayed in was a dorm. All the fellow guest were trusting and safe. I liked my stay.
