I was not there any minute due to the bad conditions of place, the manager did not speak spanish or english only chinese. I was there 40 minutes trying to talk with him and i would like my money back

Real close (5 min walk) to major public transport and close to LGA (10 min), lots of stores, all kinds of food places in walking distance, all in all a nice low cost place with excellent service, had a reservation in a hotel in lower Manhattan but I canceled after they asked for $100 daily deposit so I rebooked here and saved myself a lot of money which then I used to go out and sightseeing right before everything got shut down because of ‘Rona... Phew!

Please DONT BOOK THIS HOSTEL!! I'm still here unfortunately.horrible room I just got the pillow ,I'm freezing all night,tge men who is down in the front desk ,he doesn't speak any English at all If you need help!!!!!! ***IS BETTER PAY MORE AND STAY IN ANOTHER HOTEL GUYS*** !!!!!!!!!!!!

I warn you do not stay here! I have been here for 47 minutes and I wish I could leave. After booking I found out I have to pay in cash. It is a short walk to the atm at a small store and even they had attitudes and stared. Parking is horrible, my vehicle might get towed as we speak. The room and lodge looked nice on booking.com but in person it is not so great. The owner chooses not to speak english but can understand and is still giving me a hard time with every simple question I ask. If you want to put up with bs stay but otherwise PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY TO STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This is a great place - staff phenomenal, location great too! If you want to be very close to Manhattan, this is the best idea! Always clean, comfortable, safe neighborhood, Free Coffee,Tea,mini fridge in lobby area, sitting area , will help you in any emergency situation.

Very cozy & homey atmosphere. The staff are very friendly & welcoming. I'm a neat freak to say the least, and this place puts my mind at ease when it comes to cleanliness. I have enjoyed my stay very much, would recommend & come back for sure.

I arrived at JFK in the late afternoon, and was to continue onwards from La Guardia early next morning. I wanted to stay overnight at a place that was within very short walking distance from a public bus to LGA, and also close to the subway, to make transfers easy. To my surprise, it wasn’t easy to find such a place, but the Kamway Lodge filled my criteria. It’s a five-minute walk from Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Avenue subway station (E from JFK), where also the Q70 frequently leaves for LGA, and the bus ride takes a mere 15 minutes. The neighbourhood is Hispanic and lively well into the night, and I felt safe enough walking to the logding after having spent the evening in Manhattan. It’s a small and very modest hostel-cum-hotel with dormitories and private en-suite rooms. If you expect luxuries or need pampering, stay elsewhere. I had booked an en-suite and even if I only booked a regular double, I got the biggest room they have, on the top floor, with a private balcony. The receptionist was friendly, the room was clean and the free wifi worked well. The bathroom was a bit small, but adequate. Water pressure in the shower was poor, though. This being NYC, it set me back $116, while it would be worth $40–50 in any other city in the world… However, for the price I paid, it would be impossible to get anything en-suite in Manhattan. I will stay here again if I need a place for the night between flights.

Located in Jackson Heights in Queens, many Indians, Tibetans and Nepali restaurant near by. The rooms are okay. We stayed twice in the hotel, in the same room. The first time, everything was okay, the second time we had still some hairs in the bed, almost no toilet paper and one towel too less. The reception close down at 9 pm.
