Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel

Great location, fabulous building and lovely staff

Was not informed on booking that the leisure facilities were being renovated and do we’re out of use. So expensive room only .

The hotel is located in a beautiful and stunning place

• The hotel did not include information on Booking.com about the pool and sauna renovation or that these facilities were unavailable. We booked the hotel specifically for this reason, so arriving and finding out they were not available was a surprise. We would not have stayed at this hotel if we had been able to cancel the booking. • The hotel includes information about available charging points; however, out of four, only one is currently working • The charge for a dog is £30; however, they do not even provide a bowl for pets in the room.

The location is beautiful. The hotel is very well presented and spotlessly clean . The food and service in Prego were excellent , the restaurant manager was particularly welcoming .

The lack information about the spa facilities been closed, this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel .I did mention to the ladies on the desk who were not that helpful.Yhe room was very warm which made our sleep very uncomfortable .

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting Northumberland without spending too much time driving.

We were a bit disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay, as it’s usually one of our main criteria. However, the situation was explained well, and the manager was very understanding and offered a goodwill gesture, which we really appreciated.

Beautiful location, very peaceful & quiet. Set in well maintained grounds & lovely walks. The food is excellent as is the service. Rooms are clean & looked after.

The corridors could have better lighting as they are a bit dark.
