I normally do not leave reviews but I have to this time. This was one of the most unbelievable places I have ever stayed and i have been lucky to stay in some of the worlds best places from the Burj in Dubai to the Four Seasons in Bali. This had everything. The staff do not know how to say no and the villas are top class. The mix of Jungle and the beach is quite unique and honestly breathtaking. If I was to give them some areas to look to improve - its only 1 year open so they are missing a few things like greeting you by name, the staff do an amazing job cleaning the rooms but they can be slow to come clean the room and their wines are outrageously priced. This place is not cheap to stay so I’m pretty sure most like a good bottle of wine but why would anyone pay 10X the cost of wine. A simple bottle of silver oak is over $500 which would cost $60 in the store. As a result, there were very little bottles being served which was a shame. Not sure of the logic here but it was disappointing. Ended up drinking a few $50 glasses of wine in the evenings. All in all, that is nit picking and the holiday was one if not the best we have been on. Well done to the team in Mexico and to the One & Only

Let’s start with the positive… the hotel & location is stunning. The rooms are also very nice & spa it’s great as well. Now let’s get into the negative… they are seriously understaffed. You can only get around the property with the golf carts and there is always a wait of at least 15/20 minutes to pick you up and take you anywhere. It would be nice if they could provide you bikes so you could get around on your own if you want. The food is super overpriced and it needs some serious work. We went to the adult pool the first day and i forgot my spf in the room asked the guy that was there if they had any so i wouldn’t have to waste 30 mins going back to the room but they didn’t have any spf and didn’t know if the store sold it, I asked for some water and after 45 minutes nobody showed up so we left and went to the beach. Service there it’s better but still not up to the standards of a property of this level. You’re very secluded meaning it takes you 30 minutes to get to closest town and the store in the property doesn’t have anything aside of some clothes so definitely pack your essentials before. We had to leave prior to our departure date because our son had an emergency eye surgery but I literally had to call and email them multiple times to process my refund back to my card which took over 15 business days. Which seems unnecessarily long.

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!

A beautiful getaway in the jungle! Our 1st stay at a One & Only property & the quality of service is first class. Our butler Angel took care of our transportation needs, reservations & was friendly, helpful and professional. Our ocean Villa was well appointed and the plunge pool just a few steps away with views of the jungle & water. Getting a buggy wasn’t difficult until the last day when the property was at 90% capacity. Adult pool is fabulous and perhaps an adults only restaurant should be a consideration. Food quality and presentation were on point. Brenda in the spa gave me one of the best massages of my life! Celebrating my husband’s birthday here was fun and a chocolate piñata along with fruit and cake were a nice touch. This was the 3rd property on our 10 day vacation and O&O was relaxing as well as a place to meet some new friends!

Beautiful Resort with a lot of activities, beautiful pools and beaches and very family friendly. Rooms are spacious, new and clean with beautiful views and lots of privacy. Drawbacks: You have to take a golf cart everywhere you go and it can take time to get one so you spend a lot of time waiting for rides. In the end, we packed to be away from the room for the whole day so we did not have to worry about travel time back to our room. Bottles/Glasses of wine are unreasonably expensive. Food was excellent with a lot of variety...Carao was our favorite restaurant...open for dinner. Breakfast is good and included in the room rate. Be careful if you have traveling in the rainy season...a lot of the hotel amenities close when it rains. It takes almost 2 hours to get to/from the airport but this should get better once the highway is completed. The horseback riding and zip lining are great and worth the cost.

Simply amazing, the private beaches, incredible room(tree house), impressive service, and the food is good,...it can be better, and they should put a sushi place,but the best was the Italian...our 20 year anniversary, was spectacular...thanks guys..

Exceptional service, from our pick up at the airport Hector did and excelente service. And out Butler Hector and Thomas were the best.

Beautiful natural environment and great amenities

I just landed back home after a five day trip to this amazing property! I’m already itching to return. Stunning landscape, unique setting and top notch service. I highly recommend staying in one of their treehouse accommodations.The spa was also divine. Special shouts to some of the staff including Christian, Jonathan, Chewy and Mariano.
