The bar inside needs to serve late night snacks

We had our wedding block planned through the Berkeley since fall of 2024 and we found out last week that they canceled our reservations out from under us with ZERO notice. The only reason I even found out our entire block was canceled was because I was bugging our coordinator for an updated booking list. Management was supposed to reach out to explain the situation, and we STILL have yet to hear anything from them. Apparently the entire hotel was bought out for that weekend so mine and another wedding block was just left to fend for ourselves, regardless of the fact that we signed contracts and have been working with these people to coordinate accommodations for our wedding guests for A YEAR now. If you’re considering the Berkley to host your wedding guests or guests for any other event, I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere. Nothing says ‘we don’t give a s*** about our customers’ like what they pulled with us. Awful business practices to say the very least.

Staff was friendly, room was clean

The room was clean but did have a weird smell to it. I first chalked it up to it being ocean front but a weird smell kept coming from the ac unit. The water in the shower took forever to turn warm and initially the water that came out of the faucet was not clear..

Amazing view, spacious room, great location. Room does not have a coffee pot. The light switches did not always work, tub did not drain well.

Best part about this property. It’s its location. It is an old property that needs to be updated. During the day the air conditioner barely keeps up with keeping your room cool. At night it cooled down enough to sleep, but we had to get an additional fan to help it cool down. Overall, it was clean however, the shower curtain floated in the bathtub, which was really gross when you were taking a shower and the tub did not drain very well. The valet parking for $75 a day. I thought it was a little excessive. We chose this property because the price was well below the other properties in the area
