Hotel Indigo - Stratford Upon Avon by IHG

Lovely garden full of roses and herbs, we ate out both evenings in the garden. Great central location. Friendly staff.

Long queue when checking in. Took some time to work out how the lights worked! A dial in the bathroom was confusing, I had to ask what it was for and it was part of a speaker system.

Good size room, large comfy bed, air con was a real bonus given the unexpected end of May heatwave. The whole place looks recently decorated so everything feels fresh, nice gsrden area too out the back. Staff were great, and plenty of parking on site with a pay machine by reception (max £15 for 24 hrs).

It’s probably the most wonderful hotel in the whole city of Stratford upon Avon. At the front it’s a historical Tudor building, and the back it’s a modern establishment with a beautiful garden. It has all facilities of a modern hotel with them wonderful maze of historic spaces. Our room was in the ancient part of the hotel. One thing that you need to consider is that it’s not accessible, there are steep stairs going up and the room is quite small. However, it is beautifully furnished and it has a view of Shakespeare’s new place from the window. So if you can try to sleep in the old part if you’re a Shakespeare and history lover.

I loved how they made good use of the space, considering the age of the property.

Todo, habitación muy nueva, camas muy cómodas y muy grandes. Decoración preciosa, limpieza perfecta. Un jardín donde poder cenar fuera de horas. Cercano a la zona del río y a varias atracciones turísticas.

El parking muy caro, cuesta 15 libras por día. Pero es la opción más cómoda ya que por la zona no hay aparcamiento. Reservamos dos habitaciones y nos pusieron en dos pisos distintos, muy alejadas entre sí, lo lógico es dar las habitaciones cercanas cuando haces una única reserva.
