Basma Executive Club

Best view in Aswan. It is impossible to top this view. We got a free uprade to a suite room on the 1st floor, the view is just amazing. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, at your service 24/7. We stayed there for 2 night. Cons: Hotel Internet was very bad/non-existent. The first night they said they are working on it, on the second day they gave us a portable wifi router which worked fine. Water pressure in taps/shower was really bad. On first night they couldnt do anything and on the second day the same situation. They sent a plumber on the second day but he just checked the pipe connection and eent again. There was no water at once, while I was showering. After somehow showering, I went to the reception again. The manager took care of the problem and made sure that the water pressure problem was fixed.

The hotel has an awesome view. Big problem though we had no water for most of the morning. Could not even flush the toilet. Light fixture in the bathroom does not work and the bathroom door would not close. Safe in the room dies not work either.

A good hotel with superb service and a view to die for! The room was spacious with everything we needed. A little dated but clean. I found the staff very friendly and they happily accommodated a number of extra requests with a smile. They really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The view, well it was amazing!

If you are visiting Aswan you MUST stay at The Basma Executive Club. It has the best and most breathtaking views of the city. The whole staff is simply AMAZING! Professional and polite. They will help you with everything you need and run the extra mile for you to make you happy and make your stay a wonderful experience. We were celebrating our honeymoon and both of our birthdays and they gave us a room upgrade and the restaurant manager Walid (not sure of spelling) surprised us with a delicious cake to celebrate all the occasions. The suite was very spacious. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was delicious. They will also provide you with a breakfast box if you need to leave early in the morning for touring. The hotel is located on a hill so you will need to get a taxi to go up (we paid 20 EGP from the Corniche) or a tuk tuk (10 EGP). Our stay was full of pros. The only cons we found is that the furniture is a bit old/outdated and the Wi-Fi was a bit unstable.

The view of Aswan and the Nile was spectacular, one of the best in Egypt. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding. The only downside was the lack of a few things in the room, such as a desk and chair for use with one's laptop. There was plenty of room to add this but also there was much space devoted to drawers for clothes that could be converted to desk-type space use. The capacity of the drawers was several times what people are allowed to take with them on planes so it sits unused. I did explain this to the person at the reception prior to departing.

The hotel manager, George, was really helpfull and arrange everything when arrived. The hotel can arrange prived tours within the area.

This property has THE location in Aswan with most beautiful view on Nille - from room, from terrace, simply amazing. Staff are amazing people, we felt like we were home. So kind, helpfull, always at your service. We were celebrating birthday, per request, they prepared birthday cake, balloons etc, it was amazing. If you're about to visit Aswan, this is the place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Given COVID, it was not crowded at all so we got a room upgrade. Despite not being crowded, the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The location is great - nice views of the city and walking distance of Nubian Museum. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to enhance its wi-fi coverage to more portions of the hotel.
