Grand Hotel Tremezzo

One of the best hotels we have ever visited. Everything is perfect. Location, staff, service, the view, the pools. A true 5 stars on the shores of Lake Como. We have travelled the World, stayed in many nice places but Grand Hotel Tremezzo is unique. Thank you for making our stay memorable. We will be back soon.

Love everything about the hotel, great location, breathtaking view to the mountain and the lake, , gorgeous interior, garden, pools, amazing buffet breakfast we’ve had! Definitely a place we would love to come back and have a vacation in Lake Como!

This hotel is old school style, luxury and hospitality at its very best. The decor is perfection: bright, elegant, exquisite and not a hint of dullness, white or grey anywhere! The location is the ideal base to explore Bellagio, Varenna and Managgio as there are far less queues from and to Tremezzina than these. What really makes the Grand Hotel Tremezzo stand out is how special the staff make you feel. You are always greeted so warmly and they can’t do enough for you to ensure your every need is met. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere as special as here again.

We have stayed in many great hotels. This is one of the best anywhere. The staff is very attentive, the hotel is beautiful, and the food is delicious. It is expensive, but worth every euro. Suggest you do the Lake Como boat tour with Carlo. Two suggestions: One, the spa is just ok. You are paying a premium for an ok experience. Two, the fitness center is terrible. Looks pretty but they have crappy equipment. Overall, this is an amazing hotel in a beautiful part of the world.

What a wonderful experience - amazing hotel with views, great property, excellent service from staff - wonderful hotel that should take diamond stars - it started by Carolina at the front desk who was exceptionally great - followed by every team member - at the restaurants Samuel was exceptional - Carlos was great during the boat trip - the view is breath taking - the room cleanliness and service was exceptional - I hate to leave but I must go back and work in Los Angeles ❤️❤️❤️ thank you hotel tremezzo

A truly grand experience! The rooms are beautiful with luxurious bathrooms of beautiful marble. The breakfast buffet is an amazing array of fresh fruit, charcuterie, cheeses, chocolates, and hot dishes including eggs to order. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful We especially enjoyed our full day lake tour with Captain Carlo. Vincenzo, in the terrace bar was so accommodating. Junga(spelling unsure) was a wonderful host in the terrace restaurant. We loved our dinner the first evening at the bar restaurant The entire concierge staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially Alex

I like the architecture, everything had history but was well kept, clean and felt so extravagant. The details the staff and team placed in everything made this place feel as though it was faultless and perfect

1. Terrible experiences with food for the price the place charges. Across the board highly overcharged where dishes and prices were four to five times higher a Michelin quality restaurant elsewhere in Italy with food being far from quality you find in the region. Food would arrive late usually for one of the two people so you would eat cold or at different times (20 minutes apart a day where we paid over 150 euros for a steak and 54 for a cacio e Pepe which you would think they would bring on time), crazy pastas for over €50 arriving cold to the table, orders would be forgotten such as cocktail order arriving 40 minutes after sat down when the main was ending, staff acting “stern” & short when it came to small things such as schedules (eg eating at the bar one night and “told off” for taking our time to have cocktail instead of dinner) 2. Hidden Charges - Surely must say somewhere in some fine print but shocked at the bill saying it was €45 per night for the car. We did not say anything to them but was a low point to find out we had been tipping the folks there and were slammed with a fee. It was low season and surely they would have been able to flag this was an “extra” but did not. Why not flag it? 3. Room was tired - every day we had a puddle of water from the shower to the entrance of the room because the shower door was not concealed - for a room of the expense this was somewhat unacceptable to have a wet floor every day - does not make you want to spend time in the room
