Residence Inn by Marriott Scottsdale Salt River

It was a great stay. Beautiful surroundings and decor inside and out. Clean and spacious rooms. The studio has everything you need, including a small stove, full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and supplied with pots, plates, glasses and utensils, everything you need to cook a meal if you dont feel like going out. I also saw guests barbequeing on the outdoor grills in the courtyard. Unfortunately we slept in and missed breakfast but heard its good. The bartender was friendly and makes good drink, the fish tacos at the bar were awesome. Nice pool with a bar. We will come back for sure.

My husband and I stayed at Residence Inn for a business event that was at the adjacent Courtyard hotel. I was able to check in early. When I got to the room the thermostat read 82. I thought maybe the temperature was set that hush because no one was in it. I lowered the temperature to 69 which was the lowest it could go. This was during the beginning of the summer (May) in Arizona so needless to say it was a bit hot outside. I had some snacks that I put in the fridge and a bag with other stuff on the counter. During a break at the event I was attending, my husband decided to take our luggage to the room and discovered none of my items that I left was in the room. I later found out that my items were removed from the room. I got it back everything back but who knows where they had been kept, I am assuming it was in the trash…ewww. And oh by the way the room temp was now at 84. Called the front desk and was given another room. Our stay here was not very relaxing. The only apology I got was from housekeeping. The front desk never apologized nor offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Was still charged the $8 parking :) Luckily I used my Marriott points for the stay. Would not have been worth it if I had actually paid money.

Staff was very kind and professional.

Wonderful property

Great service! Friendly staff too. Indoor and outdoor seating - near the pool. Walk up window to the restaurant/bar from the outside. Fish tacos and tortilla soup was great. Had the deep fried cheesecake - lovely! Reasonably prices! Hotel is also very nice.

Great place. Clean, safe, friendly syaff

It's a really nice facilitate and very friendly staff. Some of the rooms have a balcony with chairs, which is nice to unwind at night. The courtyard with chairs and nearby cantina is really nice too. I would highly recommend it It's attached to a courtyard so you have different options for eating as well. About 5 min from the expressway. The breakfast was standard RI type food It's a little pricey in my view, so I would compare other places. However, price aside, it's a solid 5 stars in my book!
