My family and I stayed at the Residence Inn Scottsdale Salt River from June 3 to June 7 for a beauty pageant, and we had such a great experience. Julianne checked us in and was incredibly kind and helpful—she took the time to answer all our questions about nearby restaurants, casinos, and local spots. Our room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our needs. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the amenities, and they didn’t disappoint. The in-room kitchen, on-site laundry room, and complimentary continental breakfast made our stay so much more convenient, especially with how busy our schedule was during the week. There are also two restaurants right on the property—one American and one Mexican—which were perfect for easy family meals after long days. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet just off the freeway and only a short drive from Walmart and other essentials. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return again next year. Thank you for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Beautiful hotel. Staff was super and attentive. Hotel had 'theme nights'--nice touch. Pool was very well maintained. Bar had a window to outside which was a bonus (no running in and out). Had nice fire pits throughout patio area. Had an area for bags and putting. Would recommend. (Road was undergoing construction so a bit confusing-but that's temporary).

This was your first stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast has many options. The staff working in that area did an amazing job keeping it stocked. Would 100% recommend the stay. Will be back next trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic stay - a perfect Phoenix hotel! Nice design, garden area, Starbucks, rooms were comfy and spacious. Lindsey at the front desk was incredibly accommodating, going the extra mile for my Dad with friendly conversation and offering local information. We will definitely be back!

As a Marriott Platinum member for over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of staying at countless properties, but Residence Inn Scottsdale Salt River stands out as one of the best in terms of hospitality and breakfast service. This hotel delivers something truly special—warmth, care, and attention to detail that make you feel right at home. A huge thank you to Dorinda and Lisa for their exceptional work at breakfast. Every dish was perfectly prepared, with the right temperature, taste, and freshness. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience that reminded me of being back at Granny’s house, where everything was made with love. Management should be incredibly proud of the team here. If you’re looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond in service and hospitality, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

We have traveled to 41 states and this hotel is excellent in every way. You can see the pride in which the property is maintained, and as it is new, the AC works well, the beds are comfy and as we got a larger studio with a full sized refrigerator, it was a perfect place to stay in Scottsdale's over 100 degree temps. Standouts were: Dorinda, Lisa and Camille, who provided 3 of the best included breakfasts we've had at any similar properties, with cage free scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and potatoes, biscuits or tortillas in addition to the usual cold fare; Lindsay at the Front Desk who was so helpful and kind, the cheerful front desk clerks, the maids, who kept everything spotless, and the free guitarists who played in the courtyard between the 2 hotels several evenings. We had been loyal to a different chain due to frequent visits to our son. Now we are switching our business to Marriott.
