Rustic Log Cabin

It was a wonderful view and very comfortable stay

Had a fantastic time in the rustic log cabin..facilities were brilliant. View was amazing. We brought our 2 golden retrievers who were very welcomed. Host was brilliant and so friendly. Thank you again.

The view was outstanding, the bedroom was nice and toasty after 30 mins of the heating on and the weather was great which completed the weekend

Place was spotless, clean, shiny, the bed sheets was really nice , and smelled lovely. The fire place give us great atmosphere in living room. In the kitchen is everything you need. Hudge garden on the front , and amazing "view. Very good location, close distance to the beach, 10min drive to town, same to coffee shop.. the owners are Lovely. I really recommend this place.

The location was fabulous! Incredible views and a short drive into the local village.

There were a few areas of the cabin that were a bit run down for the price we paid!

The cabin is not in the same condition as the photos. The overall condition of the property is quite disappointing. Outside of the cabin requires some remedial paint work done, looks more shabby than rustic. There are 2 separate front doors, 1 to the living area and another to the bedroom area. The decor and paint work in the main bedroom was very out dated. There was a lack of space in the children's bedroom no room even to change and the small shower room and misaing grout in floor was concerning. The uneven ground in the car parking area and the lack of a working BBQ area are additional drawbacks. The lack of soundproofing was also an issue.

It’s a nice, self-catering cabin, with all the required amenities and with an incredible view! Before arriving, I came across some of the really negative, recent reviews, and they are completely unfair. So don’t let them put you off, as the place looks exactly as it does in the photos. Although, it should be clearly stated in the description that the living room/kitchen and bedroom areas are accessed separately by outside doors. Overall, the hut is as described, ‘rustic.’ It was nice, it was clean, had the required amenities, and the view was spectacular! But to me it needs some TLC, a bit more effort. For example, the outside of the hut could be cleaned up a bit in my opinion because it was covered in cobwebs. All that being said, it is described as rustic, and we had a lovely stay, and adored the terrace and outdoor seating area!
