The view

We did not stay at the Rustic Log Cabin it was unacceptable to us. Neither the information on the website nor the photos did not indicate or show that the living ares and the bedroom/shower room were separated. You would have had to come out of the lounge/dinning room onto the decking to enter the bedroom by a different door. In effect they where separate rooms and not connected internally. After a long discussion the host offered us an alternative cabin which was adequate but lacked some TLC. The walk-in shower although efficient leaked, causing water to flow onto the bathroom floor and was a potential slip hazard, nor was there a hand rail in the shower. The non slip shower mat was grumpy and we did not use it. There were no hooks or pegs to hang clothes or towels on. There was however a heated towel radiator which worked very well. Two sauce pans where need of a heaven duty clean. In fact the whole cabin could have done with a good clean. The bed was comfortable and the heating worked well.

"Very disappointed and angry"

1.0

We arrived at the property on Friday the 24/5/24 at 4.15 pm and left 4.40 we were totally disgusted literally a wooden shed split into two with two doors you would have to go outside to go to the bedroom or toilet the wooden floor was lifting the smell of damp was aweful there was a hot tub advertised as well which to get access you would have to go bout 150 yards we left and came home and I contacted the hostess Sheila’s to ask for a refund she read my message but no reply .

The smell of damp the lay out conditions which was two separate rooms with two doors leading to the decking the wooden floor was lifting in the bedroom we didn’t stop long enough to look at much more but definitely not worth £254 for two night

Beautiful place with beautiful views . For a family with kids amazing you have everything what you need for a great vacation. Friendly owner and helpful with explaining about everything. For a family with two kids was amazing. If someone complains about then they should be never unhappy people which always complains. But is a beautiful place with everything you can expect and you need in a rustic cabin . Many thanks to the owner!
