I loved the atmosphere, the vibe, the room and the breakfast. The hotel oozes class and style. The combination of design, ambiance and functionality were impeccable, and made this hotel the ultimate choice in the Wangfujing area. Breakfast was chef-restaurant quality.

The only caveat I could think of, other than the relatively not that high ceilings, was the bakery at the breakfast. A bit more butter and water would have been in place. Other than that, all perfect.

We were persuaded to upgrade to a royal suite. It was expensive but such an experience. The suite was big, with two writing desks (my husband and I do not need to take turns to do work), a walk in wardrobe and an extra powder room (three toilets) that four of us could use.

the pool was a little small and gets crowded.
