Jaye Eco Lodge

It’s a rural idyll. Very kind and thoughtful hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. We were served a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast and evening meal. Some of the produce was from the garden. Would definitely recommend

The road immediately outside was muddy and impassable by car so we had to walk a short way, our host insisting on carrying our bags. Not really a hardship but a nuisance and out of their control.

Incredible place to stay! The room was very clean and the shower worked great with consistent hot water. The food was unbelievably good and the owners and their son are super friendly. It was a real pleasure to be able to stay here for a bunch of nights and would definitely stay again!

Lovely family who have a beautiful house in the countryside. It is a little walk out of town but easy to get a tuktuk from the main road. They gave us a lovely walk around the garden showing us all the fruit and plants they grow. We also had the best meal of our whole trip in Sri Lanka here for dinner, and two amazing breakfasts.

beautifull location in nature, with a nice porch and chairs to enjoy the garden. Wild elephants can roam the garden at night. Very friendly and helpful owner. Clean spacious rooms. Near the house are ricefields and an elephant hospital.

A super friendly host that makes great food with garden grown ingredients, everything was clean and well equipped. Good spot to discover the sigirya environment. Do not hesitate to book a room if you want a peaceful stay.
