Incredibly friendly host, the best dinner I have had in sri lanka, super spacious room, great beds and bathroom.

Great stay at Jaye Eco Lodge. Accommodation is very good - spacious and modern rooms, breakfast is delicious and hosts are extremely helpful. You need a tuk tuk or bike to get into Habarana central or to see Sigiriya/Dumbulla etc. But Sujeewa will happily organise this for you! I took the train into Damulla station and they organised a tuk tuk to be there to pick me up when I arrived.

Jaye Eco Lodge is a magical place. Lakmil and his family were incredible hosts and made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Every evening when we returned to the lodge and every morning at breakfast we were served delicious fresh juice from fruit grown in the owners home. Lakmil and his family were incredibly accommodating to our dietary requirements. We eat Kosher and brought our own cooking utensils from home, and Lakmil prepared a stove for us to cook every mealtime and provided us with delicious fresh vegetables and rice and spices so that we could cook. Lakmil gave us great recommendations of things to do in the area and organised all our transport by tuktuk with the amazing Charnaga! The lodge itself is beautiful surrounded by trees and so peaceful. Our room was large and decorated in a simple and lovely way. Overall we had an incredible experience and can’t recommend this place enough!

The host was very nice and helpful with everything we asked for. His parents were super friendly and kind. They prepared for us a delicious breakfast with so many options. They even got us a mosquito vaporizer. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The surroundings were splendid, especially the garden where you could easily relax without anyone disturbing you. So far, it was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The only inconvenience is that the accomodation isn’t that close to the city center, but you can get a tuktuk ride or rent a scooter almost everywhere. Overall, if you’re looking for a calm place to stay, it’s the right choice.

It was definitely worth the money! They had working A/C and Hot water which was very nice after long hours of travelling. The staff was super nice and went out of their way to provide meals.

I wish they had a restaurant with a menu, but since there were no guest and we did not book any meals I understand why they were not prepared.

I cannot fault Jaye Eco Lodge. It was a comfortable stay and the owners were so hospitable, and helpful. A tuk tuk was arranged for me as I arrived d late to the train station. The food was incredible too - huge portions and all cooked by the owner's parents and the rooms themselves well exceeded my expectations. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough - a great base for anyone visiting places like Sigiriya or Dambulla.

Very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this area.
