North Stafford Hotel Town Centre

We booked to sray here for one night as we were visiting Alton towers for 2 days, hotel was nice but dated and check in was friendly. Downside was we were kept awake most of the night by drunk guests screaming and shouting so feeling exhausted and now have another day at the park and then a 4 hour drive home! Wouldn't stay again.

Stage one night during beginning of August a beautiful hotel that needs updating staff were friendly polite we were on the second floor fly traps were everywhere which was very offputting breakfast was gorgeous lots of noise coming from the floor above us even at 2 o’clock in the morning what sounded like children riding bikes and running back-and-forth would I stay here again no would I recommend it only for the convenience opposite the train station otherwise no Lots of people hanging around the outside of the hotel smoking and dropping rappers on the floor quite loud and leery When blowing blow drying my hair in the morning with the hairdryer provided in the room I was halfway through drying my hair and not dressed and it blew the electrics in the room I reported it to the staff there was no other rooms available the housekeeping department was lovely and helped solve the problem

Room was filthy, toilet didn’t flush, view from window was disgusting, everything was dirty, paid for a double room but was put in a single room with 2 single beds pushed together with a double mattress on, towels were dirty and only had 1 in the “double room”, glass and rubbish all over the car park. During a global pandemic, the only hand soap in the bathroom was out of date so wouldn’t lather.

No one on reception and took 10 mins for someone to be found, barman ignored us and didn’t offer to help i appreciate you have a specific job but it’s common manners to ask if people are ok when standing looking for help. the language coming from the bar from ladies was disgusting and they weren’t being told to keep it down, certainly put us off going in to it. Room was spacious but smelt very damp and we woke to a waterfall feature in the morning.

The property is tired and requires attention before it too bad, it requires a refurbishment.

Was a nice hotel for the price did the job

Good stay nice hotel, only problem was the bed mattress was fairly uncomfortable, had to use duvet cover to lay on as springs were digging into me as i tried to sleep. Highly reccomend a new mattress. Other than that very happy with stay.

This was possibly one of the worst days that I have ever had and I hotel. Due to my parents having renovations done on my home, I was too able to stay at their home, So driving up from London and staying in a hotel, seems like a mini break. On arrival, the receptionist was incredibly rude, she also failed to tell me that none of the lights in my room would work unless I turned the main switch on behind the door, so I spent one hour trying to turn the lights on, and when I went down to ask for help, she replied with “no“. Upon further examination, the lights in my room did not work. I had to be then moved to another room. The first night sleep was pleasant, with no interruptions. The breakfast in the morning was cold, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was as though the staff were rushing you to leave. The second evening in the hotel was the worst night sleep I’ve ever had in my life. The hotel was at full capacity, and the noise level was ridiculous. I had a party in the room above me, and a party to the room by the side of me, and the banging on the floors and the banging on the walls was too much. I asked security to intervene, which they did happily, however this did not improve the situation. By 1 o’clock in the morning, I had guests knocking on my door and running off. After five separate noise complaints, the noise levels became even worse. This resulted in me checking out of the hotel at 3 o’clock in the morning I’m sleeping in my car. Do not sleep here.

It’s a £28 a night hotel

Think parking prices should be included with the stay £5 per car extra is a as bit extreme
