North Stafford Hotel Town Centre

Poor quality food and no sparking or soda water!!! It is a glorious building but needs TLC

Hotel was nice, we only used it as a base for sleeping as was visiting Alton towers. Hotel staff friendly and helpful when we inquired about buses etc. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that nor did we use the bar facilities. Hotel perfect location as directly across the road from the train station.

Grand old hotel but in disrepair and unloved. Cold rooms, creaky beds.

Perfectly pleasant simple room. Clean, a bit tired. Mattress a bit too hard. Would have loved in room free wifi.

I stated here as it was close to the venue I was attending for a Manic Street Preachers concert, on arrival there was no fraught ale, only bottles which they were still selling at there full price which was dearer than the drought!! I was told pre arrival via phone call that the bar would be shut at 11 pm but I could still purchase a drink as a resident after this via the night porter/ manager...not the case the night manager on duty that night blatantly refused not just me but several other residents also!!, we also waited 25 minutes to gain access to the hotel via ringing the doorbell??as they lock the front door after 11pm?, The decor of the hotel is dated and wouldn’t look out of place in the 1970’s...poor poor hotel shocking considering it is 2021!!

This place is foul .. a lovely Victorian building bought by Britannia and left to fall into disrepair . This is essentially a squat not a hotel . Filthy everything. I walked out within the hour and booked the Hilton garden inn. Will bd requesting a full refund

By far the worst experience I have had in a hotel. Room absolutely rocking from music from a wedding. Manager on reception pointed to a sign they had laminated pointing out that wedding music would be playing until 12:30.. as if that was helpful to me when I booked online. I suggested a refund and was told only we if we left. If we use the service we had to pay. It was 11pm by this point. Girlfriend heavily pregnant and very upset about the noise. Eventually they found us another room by about 11:30 and we had to move. The room was not fully prepped. No towels etc and very grubby. In the interest of balance, the breakfast was nice

The hotel room was tidy and sterilized, just felt it needed to be updated

No hot water. Fire Alarm repeatedly going off at 8am. Not very clean. Bed had broken springs. Funny smell. Rude catering staff.
