White Swan Hotel

Відвідували виставку у Гуанчжоу, і обрали цей готель через наявність трансферу (пором) і реєстрацію на виставку у самому готелі. Ставка на трансфер оправдала себе - приємно провести час на верхній палубі за чашкою кави, або й навіть за повноцінним сніданком (що теж дуже зручно, враховуючи зміни часового поясу тощо) - ціна за трансфер і сніданок входить у ціну проживання у готелі. Само готель комфортний, гарна звукоізоляція, гарна якість матрасів. Місце розташування - район Ліван, де переважають колоніальні будинки (британсько-французької доби), інстаграмне місце, дуже зелене і з достатньою кількістю ресторанів (направо від виходу), гарним парком, прямо на березі річки. За 20 хвилин пішки від готелю знаходиться цікавий район з типовими шопами, дуже своєрідний і автентичний. Станція метро і непоганий торгівельний центр знаходяться десь за 10 хв пішки від готелю. Із задоволенням повернемось!

Було би добре підтягнути англійську мову у персоналу - підтримувати світську бесіду нема необхідності, а от хоча б розуміти вирази типу "кава з молоком", думаю, під силу кожному.

The hotel is excellent on location and services. Tim, the manager of concierge, is very nice and helpful. We left some important belongings in the room after checked out. Concierge staff mailed our belongings to the hotel we stayed in Shanghai. We definitely will stay at White Swan Hotel if we have chance to visit Guangzhou.

Nothing we do not like.

Only the breakfast time who’s stop at 10am

This is the 4 or 5 time that I have stay in your hotel . I have always book the River facing room and was always given a floor on the 14 or 15 . First time eating at your fine restaurant . The Chicken and Char siew was good .

Except the shark fin was a disappointment. It is what it is.

Overall a nice, somewhat old-fashioned but very centrally located hotel. Check-in went smoothly. Perfect for sightseeing and a city trip. However, there were some shortcomings in the service. None of the hotel staff could speak English or really help with day tours. Even more serious, however, is the handling at check-out and the processing of the deposit payment. In all hotels in China, I received my deposit back to my account within a maximum of two days. Now, after more than a week, the credit/refund is still missing — which is a no-go nowadays. When asking about it, one is treated quite rudely, being told that the problem lies with the bank or the credit card provider, which is simply untrue. Technically, a refund within two days is absolutely possible. I am still waiting and will likely report this type of business practice. Therefore, deductions in the rating.

A big shout out to Issac, Roy, Sarah, For their kindness and help during our relaxing stay at the White Swan. The working team from the door man, front desk, porter, cleaning staff, management, restaurant staff, nightclub employees was exceptional and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend staying at the White Swan, the accommodation is first class, located at the rear of the property lies a treasure of 150 amazing buildings which can be explored, the tree lined streets add to the beauty of the area. In summary we will make a return visit hopefully soon. Penny and Colin.
