Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa

Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is located at the entrance of the Whistler Village and right next to the Whistler Village Gondola, the Excalibur Gondola, and the Blackcomb Gondola. The location is very convenient for the ski as you don’t need to rely upon shuttle or bus to reach the Whisler Village Gondola. During peak ski seasons, rooms in Hilton Whistler sold out quickly, so you may want to book earlier if you have already made the ski plan. We stayed at a 2-queen room during the Christmas season. We have found the room to be spacious and clean, with a nice desk and TV in the room, and attached to a bathroom with a tub and a shower. The hotel has a restaurant Cinnamon Bear. We have ordered whole Dungeness Crab and Whild BC Salmon. The food is good, though the price is on the expensive side. We have found ample activities to entertain the kids. There are a game room (with foosball, Ping-Pong table, Wii game, some old arcade games (free), and a decorate your own gingerbread activities. Overall, the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa is a good hotel to stay for a Whistler Skii vacation.

Location was excellent for access to the ski lifts. Rooms were really nice, and staff were great. The Christmas stocking was a nice touch! Also appreciated the daily txt message check-ins.

The location is amazing, as is the ski valet service. The rooms are large but lack basic features like a microwave, but don’t worry for a ridiculous up charge they’ll sell you a room with a kitchenette. The staff as a whole were very friendly. The front desk seemed offended to be disturbed for anything. I asked if I could borrow a pair of scissors and was told “they don’t keep things like that at the front desk”. To compare that I had asked at a different resort to borrow a screw driver and not only did they call maintenance for me, the maintenance guy spend a good 20 mins trying to track down the right screw driver. For a resort that sells itself as a luxury brand the service has a long way to go. The walls are also very thin and we couldn’t sleep much because we could hear our neighbors discussion until the wee hours. We also had multiple maintenance issues during our stay. While this is a minor note, the Christmas decorations were average, the Westin across the way seems to be far superior so we’ll look into that for our next stay.

Two redeeming qualities for this place 1) Daniel's beer tasting 2) location location location I would stay here again. Staff is pretty friendly.

Lovely place in the heart of Whistler, Valet Service for skies was great! Super clean, beautiful rooms with all appliances that could be needed! Pool and jacuzzi/sauna area was nice! Loved everything about our stay!

No help at all from reception staff. Only weak excuses.

I stayed in the suite for November 7-8 and it was perfect. The room was spotless. The front desk was very nice. The staff were all so nice, friendly and helpful We came for a friends 50th birthday We enjoyed the restaurant and spa Definitely will be booking this hotel again Location is perfect t

There was no parking available at the hotel. After driving around the village trying to find an alternative we came back and were told the only option was valet parking $$$$. We were told that we would not be able to leave our car in the hotel parking while we go skiing! The dishes etc in the kitchen were quite basic.
