It was closed. No information from Booking. Com. It had been closed for some time yet still advertising. That would be fraud!

There was not a lot to like. The family room and bathroom were a good size and well decorated. The shower was hot and the sound of the river outside was lovely.

The pub was not as advertised on it's website. It had no bar or dining room and no customers apart from us. There was one staff member, Paul, the new owner who was rude. It was difficult to get off to a good start due to his morose behaviour. It was made unpleasant when a misunderstanding with the booking could have been handled courteously. He told us to make our own beds as it was "women's work", which is funny to think of afterwards. He was unable to use his nice coffee machine and gave me instant coffee instead. The advertised warming fire place in our room was just a hole in the wall. I could go on..... just don't book this place, it could have spoiled our holiday if we had let it. We laughed at it instead and made the best of our time together as a family.

Lovely place to stay next to the river in a small village. Owner was very friendly.

No fridge no work surfaces one shelf in the bathroom toilet bags on the floor, very basic

Nothing as it is falsely advertised on your site , signs have been taken down , no access to the pub / restaurant as it is empty inside. Looks derelict

Falsely advertised, No bar , No restaurant, just an empty building and has been like this for the last 4 months or so having spoken with residents in the area, no carpets in the property or TV , freezing cold , looks derelict.

Loved our stay at The Leaping Salmon. Our host was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant wasn't open at the time due to some refurbishments being done, but otherwise it had everything we needed. Really beautiful location. Tawny owl roosting outside, which was dreamy.

Restaurant wasn't open, cappuccino machine wasn't available (I'm a coffee snob, so don't mind me). But those were really minor things and really didn't affect us. There are no TVs in the rooms - also minor for us, but worth mentioning if you're planning on chilling out to a movie.

Clean & spacious

Would have been better if pub & restaurant hadn’t closed a few months ago.
