Super friendly people - whole team. Evening meal food was really excellent, varied, well cooked and presented and delicious - worth a visit just for the dinner!

"Nice pub, great welcome and food, rooms average."

The staff were friendly, the pub was cosy and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and newly decorated.

The room lacked any character, limited soft furnishings to make it feel comfortable. Needed curtains, a comfortable chair, maybe a rug and a table to put our things on. There was a bright green fire escape light in our room, lit all night? The room was basic but not comfortable.

The food was delicious. The restaurant was cosy with a wood burning stove. Well situated overlooking the river Walkham. Easy parking.

Our room was ok. Standard. I would suggest putting a mirror in the bedroom. Useful when using a hair dryer.
