The Leaping Salmon

Booked this for business and disappointed that pub and restaurant closed on weds eve. Clearer messaging should advise this, no tv and it would appear i used all the broadband width as other guest in the morning said she couldnt get on, bed and pillows were very comfortable and breakfast at 9am opening was very tasty, not really a place for a business travellor

Scenic village Great mattress

The room was very basic, Lino floor throughout, no tv, no decor in room, no wardrobe, nowhere to put anything in bathroom, mirror constantly steamed up in bathroom as extractor not good enough Pub downstairs only open 5 til 8pm

A lovely place to stay. From the minute we walked in wa we was made to feel welcome. The room was very clean and had a very comfortable king-size bed a a fabulous walkin shower. The food was amazing and the home made crumpets are out of this world.

Bed was comfortable and ot was clean and warm. Breakfast was nice but not to my liking.

The room was basic. I was expecting a little more in home comforts for the price. No where comfortable to sit in the room. Which i would have liked, Yes, nice view of the river from the bedroom but really when in there felt blind had to be closed as pub on the road side.

Location was fabulous, great menu and good price

A tv would have been good, and would have liked juice either way breakfast as well as tea or coffee. Didn’t detract from a fabulous stay and delicious food
