It was a well maintained apartment

No breakfast on site had to walk to another place

Nice pool and you could take the bikes out free of charge

We were so disappointed by our stay in Bay Towers. We stayed through Christmas and specifically booked somewhere with a “smart tv” (as listed on their booking.com) so we could relax, put our feet up and watch some Christmas movies after 2 months of backpacking through hostels. When we arrived we were so disappointed to figure out the Tv is like something from the 1970s. It has the Netflix app but kept saying an error occurred. It was not possible to connect to ANY tv channels or to cast our devices to the Tv either. It was completely useless ! I don’t know why they bother to advertise it as having a Tv. I contacted reception to tell them this and they completely dismissed me saying “sorry it’s not working for you” but did nothing to try help or resolve the situation. This would have been a minor issue if it was the only thing wrong with the property, but no. The room absolutely stunk of vinegar and felt damp and musty. There was hairs and dead flies in the shower. The rooms clearly have gaps in the walls / floors as we were greeted by numerous geckos, cockroaches, etc. in the room. The curtains were also crap and kept no light out. The WiFi also did not work for our WHOLE STAY. It was like staying in an old, neglected dump. Such a disappointing stay, save your money and stay elsewhere.

It was a bit off the beaten path and costly with the ferry back and forth every time you want to go across the split to dine or meet up with tour companies. Come before this side is all built out with resorts!

The property was great. The property manager was super helpful and friendly. BUT - the whole reason I booked this hotel was for the pool. I was travelling solo and doing several days of scuba diving. It's great to come back from a whole day in the ocean and relax in a pool. The pool was just outside of my room. Upon check-in, I was informed that the pool was drained and would not be available. I totally understand that things happen, but if I had been informed before my check-in, I would have found another place as soon as I reached the island. I did not find out until I was checking in after a whole day of travel (and looking forward to the pool). I also was not offered any type of discount on my stay. The lack of pool was really the only negative on my whole trip. The hotel itself was lovely.

This hotel is brand new and is the view from the rooms are just breathtaking. The staff is amazingly kind and very helpful. It feels like a resort. you have all the sun beds in the luxury hotels and when you are on the dock is just heaven. The room was very big and there’s so many windows that we could have a panoramic view from both sides of the room. There are 2 balconies with chairs and table to chill. The kitchen is fully equipped like you’re at home. AC works perfectly Everything was so amazing. You just have to be aware that you must ferries to come and pick you up to the south side.

We had a great experience at the Bay Towers. They have a nice pool and a cute beach area with thatched umbrellas. We were excited to find a large conch shell. We enjoyed talking to the staff/owners and meeting the dogs that lived there. It's nice that you don't need transportation on that side of the island. The restaurants will give you a ride or deliver your food. There are water taxis that will take you to the split and then they will drop you back off at the dock of Bay Towers for a small fee. We were happy to be greeted by the dogs when we were dropped off. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the dock.

The hotel is brand new and the view is just breathtaking from the room as well as from the dock! The room is fully equipped and super convenient. AC is a delight and the panoramic view with balcony from both sides is the best. Staff super friendly and very helpful. 12/10!!

The location was good for being nice and quiet but had to take the water ferry across The Split every day which wasn't bad but a little hassle. Enjoyed the food @ El Ben.

The beds are hard as rocks. Had to sleep on bed pillow. They need to invest in some 4 inch toppers and the place would be perfect! Owner and staff very pleasant and helpful! Take their offer to get water taxi for you from Belize City ferry to their dock. It is worth it!
