Belle Air Mansion and Inn

There are many great things about the Belle Air mansion. The inn is beautiful. The grounds are nice and the breakfast is amazing. Wonderful eggs, cheesy hash browns, biscuits, berries, delicious sausage, great coffee and a French toast bake with syrup. It was perfect. I ordered the birthday cake package for my husband which was very nicely done with a bottle of Prosecco, a great chocolate cake, a dozen red roses and a happy birthday balloon. That was fantastic. We had a room in the retreat house which is anything but a retreat, unless you’re trying to evade your enemies in a battle. It looks like a double wide trailer and appears more like a strip mall bunker. The mansion is gorgeous and has beautiful main floor rooms. It could be great to stay there if you can. The room in the retreat house was overpriced, and very, very small. It nicely decorated with the exception of a broken nightstand, though it’s not worth the price of over $300 a night. In addition, the mansion hosted a wedding on Saturday, which implies one should not access the mansion while they host this event. This was another detractor since we could not sit together on a couch or work easily in our room. The common spaces in the mansion are lovely. We did not receive any kind of discount or appreciation for our inconvenience. Unless we could stay in the mansion, without a wedding, we would not stay here again.

Check in was easy. We got to the room my wife love it . That all I needed . Nice big bath tub ,walk in shower for me. The was clean and big . The Mansion was very nice and roomy lots of places to sit . The ground nice to walk around . This place is a keep for next time .

Very friendly staff.

Breakfasts were great The location was a little busier than I like but the grounds were lovely. The busyness of the location did make it convenient to many activities.

Visited Belle Air Mansion for a family and friends gathering that included a 50th anniversary celebration. The team at Belle Air were simply fabulous! It was clear there was very thoughtful attention to considering the needs of the group. Then, the mansion and grounds were simply amazing. The best of a well-appointed bed and breakfast (combined with a time-travel machine) that takes you back to the best of an 1880s Greek Revival antebellum mansion. Would love to have the opportunity to visit again!

I recently stayed at this beautiful mansion with eight coworkers for a 4 days, and it was fantastic. The mansion is stunning, with each room uniquely designed. It's in a great location - quiet yet close to everything. The staff were amazing, welcoming us warmly and ensuring our stay was comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the lunch they prepared for our meeting was spot on. Whether for a business trip, wedding, or getaway this mansion is perfect for any occasion. I HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I stayed there in the Paris Blue Room for three nights. They were the most comfortable and luxurious accommodations we have had in many years of traveling around the country. Sara and her entire staff were extremely friendly and a joy to talk to. We will definitely stay at the Belle Air Mansion whenever we visit Nashville in the future, and will recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you, Doug and Susan

The Mansion is so well done, with beautiful period furniture and artwork. Spotlessly clean with fabulous bathrooms, great bedding, in room coffee and waters. The included breakfast was gourmet and beautifully prepared- served on Haviland China. A wonderful experience.

The Belle Air is fabulous. From the moment we arrived it was truly a step back into rich history surrounded by beautiful furnishings, southern hospitality and delicious food at breakfast. Our room “TheLoft” was squeaky clean and beautiful. We loved every moment. We even got to hear about all of the history of the home and toured much of it. Thank you to Lewis, Debbie, Sarah and Kelley for your kind hospitality!

We booked a last minute reservation for one night during our travels. Because we got in late and were only staying one night before hitting the road again, we booked the Captain’s room. It was a good size for a couple for one-night. Anything more, and we would’ve stayed in a bigger room in the mansion. The two downsides were the noise from the traffic and the AC. Traffic noise is to be expected for a city, but the AC was a little more disturbing. We slept well otherwise. Bathroom was nice, shower pressure was strong. Breakfast- one of the best things about select registry b&bs - was tasty and hearty. We had a chance to walk around the mansion common rooms and grounds before check out. Very nice decor and a step back in time! Really beautiful property with nice landscaping. We would have loved to see some before/after/renovation pictures to see how it came together. Very nice staff both on the phone when we booked and the next morning at breakfast. If we find ourselves in the Nashville area again, or plan a trip to Nashville, we will be looking to stay here.
