Belle Air Mansion and Inn

The place is really nice. As we looked around, you could feel the past, the heritage and atmosphere of days gone by. The property outdoors is amazing. A beautiful garden walk area, trees and flowers and a wonderful view. The place is nearby restaurants, fast-food and gasoline. The most amazing part for me, believe it or not, was the breakfast. I didn't even place an order, yet we received a fantastic plate full of breakfast foods. The colors and flavors were different from your everyday breakfast yet tasted great. Refills and second helpings were available and just as good as the firsts. It was NOT a standard meal that you have to make or put together yourself. The service is fantastic, caring and nice, making us feel very comfortable. Other guests that were there from Chicago, appeared quite kind and friendly also, often engaging in conversation with us. Yes, the place is old and does need a few repairs, on ceiling areas in the main guest room. And also, the fireplace remote control function is a bit confusing but luckily, we didn't need it at that time of year (March 2-3, 2024). It was a nice place for us to enjoy our Anniversary, but... despite a few repairs needed to the property, mentioned above, the thing that really stole all the enjoyment of our trip, was the "noise". This has happened to us now, on several of our last recent trips, "noise". While this property has a beautiful porch seating area, looking across a well-kept lawn, you could only hear the revving of every motorcycle and muffler-less vehicle in Nashville. I could care less about how fast or careless one wants to drive. I do care when it affects me, or others, when we're at a place to rest. I would ask that hotel Managers could get together with City Managers, to form "hotel, quiet" zones, like I've seen in some cities. The level of "noise" at this property, is truly "unacceptable" and severely detracts from the value of staying here. It's so sad to even have to mention it. Maybe it's also because of where our room was, on the SW corner of the building? However, I do believe that they could ask for and receive assistance on this issue, by local Police and city Managers. If it weren't for the small repairs (1/2 point) and the actions of those people, I would give this place a 5-star rating. As it is, my rating is 3-star. The noise is just too overwhelming, sadly. We tend to like bed breakfast and have stayed in so many and this is by far the best quality breakfast and friendliest most knowledgeable staff (especially Sarah). Plus everything was so clean and well maintained. This would be a lovely destination location. We found it super easy to Uber anywhere we wanted to go in Nashville from the Inn.

Rooms were even better than the pictures! Best breakfast ever and unique every morning!

I love the breakfast every morning. I have an allergy and they had no issues accommodating my allergy. The room was so nice. The landscaping and property was just beautiful!

Beautifully furnished

This place was amazing! Loved the history of it the mansion. The rooms were very unique, beautiful and clean. Each room decorated differently. Walking around was like being in Downton Abbey. Breakfast was different everyday and delicious.
