As the hotel has no elevator, please contact the hotel directly if you have any walking difficulties. Please note that pets up to 15kgs are only allowed in selected room types at a surcharge of GBP 25 per dog per night. The grounds are beautiful, when the pool is open it's great. Unfortunately during our stay it was closed for a period due to a technical issue. Swimming for children is at set times. The breakfast was very good! The room was lovely and clean but situated in the roof (room10) and birds are nesting so you can hear them all night.

We were allocated a room with birds nesting - the hotel admitted they knew the issue but failed to tell us. Offered to move but moving 2 children late at night is not possible (we came late following air show) Not informed of swim times - unhelpful when calling up and checking.

"One of Our Best Hotel Stays."

We could not fault anything about this amazing hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, the food is excellent and the grounds are expansive, attractive and well maintained. Be sure to visit the small All Saints Chapel within the grounds of the hotel. If it's locked, reception hold a key. We will definitely return and next time we will bring family and friends along too.
