“Morning to spa” spa day. Actually I would give a 5 for the facilities, treatments and restaurant. But what really spoilt it for me was the surly, unsmiling and unhelpful lady at the spa reception who flatly refused to give us the “ tea or coffee on arrival” advertised. She said we would have to pay £3 each if we wanted a drink, even though we had a voucher stating that tea / coffee on arrival was included in the price of the spa day. May seem like a small thing, but we didn’t feel welcome and it put us in a bad mood instead of feeling pampered and relaxed. I tried to complain about this but there doesn’t seem to be a mechanism for doing so.

Our stay at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa for our wedding anniversary was excellent from start to finish. From booking to arrival and departure, everything was handled seamlessly. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—it’s impossible to single anyone out as they all went above and beyond. The hotel itself is full of character and charm, with relaxing bar areas and a lovely atmosphere throughout. Our ground-floor room in the main building was quiet, spotless, and very comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep. We enjoyed a simple but delicious evening meal with wine, and made use of the pool, with facilities clearly explained beforehand. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was flexible, well presented, and offered plenty of choice. Overall, a fantastic stay—definitely a must-visit if you get the chance.

We booked a one night spa break as a group of 3 friends and were bowled over by every single thing about this place. Firstly driving into the grounds was a beautiful serene experience with the grounds and buildings kept immaculately. From the moment we entered and sat in the lobby part of the bar we were served by a lovely friendly young waiter who treated us with kindness and attentiveness. We enjoyed several lovely meals whilst staying there (breakfast lunch and dinner). All beautiful tasty meals served by friendly and discreet staff. The staff honestly could not do more for us. At every opportunity they were going out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome and comfortable, without being intrusive. Our room was a double with a single room attached within the barn conversion. All the beds were so comfortable and the room clean and very beautifully decorated. Powerful hot shower. At the spa had the facial and massage treatments, and again it was a perfect experience. The therapist gave an amazing massage and skin consultation (not pushing any products, just gave honest and helpful advice for my skin). The pool and sauna-steam room were impeccably clean and it was never too busy, and always a calm and peaceful atmosphere everywhere. We have found a real gem and will be booking the same experience next year. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Billesley Manor who made our stay extra special. We’ll be back!

Bathroom was very nice and modern. The property was beautiful with lots to do both at the hotel and in the area. We loved the pool and spa facilities.

The room we stayed in was a bit small.
