Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Our first visit and loved it. Smooth and quick check in despite it being busy. The sun came out and it was a delight to sit in the stunning gardens with a beer. I had a wander around by gardens and the spa garden it’s immaculate with manicured trees. The main building is the old historic part, bar area is lovely and many nooks to sit and enjoy the hotel. We stayed in the main hotel but a newer extension. Large superior king room with a huge bathroom. Exceptionally clean, comfy bed, fridge and coffee and tea in the room. Shower was good and easy to work! Often in hotels it’s a mission to figure out. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as we’d had Sunday lunch in Stratford. They do stop serving by 9pm so if you want food make sure it’s before that. We sat in the sitting room area and also the bar playing dominoes, it’s a lovely atmosphere and polite welcoming staff. We also enjoyed sitting above the bar area looking down on it. It’s pretty. Breakfast a bit of a mixed bag - granola, yoghurt, fruit, fresh baked bread, jams were good and a decent coffee. The cooked buffet style breakfast was cold and overcooked not appetising but didn’t really bother us. We asked at reception and they directed us for a walk across the fields to the nearest village at Wilmcote. It was peaceful and so sweet to see the sheep and lambs. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you.

Beautiful building and lovely gardens. Food was very good too. My husband used the pool and said the spa facilities were very good.

The bed was awful. Extremely hard and uncomfortable for me and I had a poor nights sleep. My husband didn’t mind it but I did.. not sure if all the mattresses are the same throughout the hotel but it would put me off staying again. The room was clean but the window frames were not! They could keep the terrace seats clear of pidgin droppings!!
