As the hotel has no elevator, please contact the hotel directly if you have any walking difficulties. Stunning grounds

Took £50 deposit that wasn’t given back until week after stay. Toilet dirty, cockroach by the bed. Swimming pool smelt of drains. Staff on reception not very welcoming wanted to check in at 3pm as meeting daughter. We were told that the rooms were not quite ready at 2.45pm which was fair enough, staff knew we were sitting right by reception but checked in about a dozen guests before us, just felt dismissed and awkward.

"Pretty Hotel but Disappointed with the Stay"

Was a lovely location with great views and pretty hotel

One of our rooms got downgraded which they didn’t tell us so ended up paying the higher price for a worse room. When we queried this with the staff at reception they didn’t seem to care or offer to refund the difference. Our room was below a conference room and at midnight could hear them moving around the furniture upstairs and woke us up multiple times.

"Bedroom very unclean for the price it should have been immaculate"

Dreadful experience- treated ourselves because we thought it would be nicer than a travel lodge but a travel lodge is much cleaner! As soon as we got in our room we had to ask for the duvet to be changed as it had a huge coffee stain on it, the bathroom floor was filthy, body hair everywhere, the door was grubby, and the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. The bolster on the bed was grubby & the bath had body hairs in it. Neither of us slept the noise was dreadful & very loud guests outside at 6am. The breakfast was chaotic in the morning, empty trays & asking for drinks twice .. will stick to a travel lodge & save myself a fortune for a cleaver visit

"Lovely location, exceptional staff, very comfortable and relaxing"

The staff stood out in our stay as they were extremely friendly and helpful especially Stacey, the manager in the restaurant. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. The room was comfortable and very clean and the restaurant offered a good selection of dishes for both dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay with exceptional staff. Would stay again.
