Had a great time at the hotel. You really don’t need to go to Manuel Antonio park as you can see macaus, parrots, humming birds,sloths, Tucans around the hotel it self. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets by the pool. One of the best hotels we stayed in. Will come back for sure. Great for families.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel La Mariposa in Manuel Antonio. It is an outstanding hotel well worth visiting. We loved our spacious, airy room with an incredible view. The entire staff was very helpful and made us feel 'at home.' Excellent breakfast buffet overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Truly mesmerizing, unforgetable sunsets, especially when viewed from the pool area. Even the distant mysterious barking sound of howler monkey troops reclaiming their territory at sunrise will never be forgotten. Pura Vida! Ulrich and Carol Conrads

"A True Gem in the Costa Rica Jungle!"

We came as a corporate group of 30 and La Mariposa hit it out of the park! From arranging transportation from San Jose to ensuring our group had a wide variety of off-site activities to choose from, Manfred and his team had everything covered. Morning breakfasts were amazing - chef in charge of the outdoor omelette station was top notch. Pools were a great refresher. Bar staff was wonderful. Hotel is wonderfully situated - close enough to walk to nearby restaurants AND jungly enough that monkeys greeted us in the morning and sloths were climbing trees outside our room in the evenings. All in all, this was a perfect space to celebrate our team. Thanks La Mariposa!

La Mariposa was a dream hotel! I loved my stay there. One of my favorite parts was having breakfast on the top floor with an amazing view and perfect service. Randall was so kind and made our experience at Mariposa the best! He was so tentative and right when we walked in for breakfast he knew exactly what we needed to enjoy our breakfast. BEST VACATION!

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Room was clean, but needs further update in terms of furnishings but we didn’t mind. The view of the ocean from the room & dining area is SPECTACULAR! The staff was very attentive and the food wonderfully delicious! Would recommend staying here on your trip to Quepos.
