Salutation Hotel

The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for me - accessible to all city centre places of interest and within walking distance, across the bridge and the railway line walkway to the Branklyn Garden and Kinnoull Hill

Unfortunately the lift was out of action and I was staying during the very hot days in June. My room was on the very top floor. I am relatively fit for 76 so it wasn't too much trouble. BUT the room was VERY hot with no air circulating through the window. The other downside was that the water was very slow coming through the taps - and the shower took a long time to warm up and then the water was very slow.

Desde que el ascensor estaba roto y estábamos en la planta 3, y era laberinto para subir. El calor insoportable que hacía en la habitación, las ventanas eran de boardilla y no podían abrirse de todo. La bañera no tenía cortina, no salía agua caliente y no salía ni agua, solamente era un hilillo de agua que para ducharte tardabas media hora solo en lavarte el cuerpo. La puerta que separaba los dos habitáculos se abría sola por la noche. No había escobilla de inodoro...
