Coffs Windmill Motel

It was conveniently located near the main road. The really only positive thing I can say that it was located close to a fantastic Filipino restaurant. The staff member was friendly and welcoming.

While I understand this type of motel is primarily designed for an overnight stay rather than a five-star luxury experience, it was still disappointing considering the price. The room felt very cramped and quite dated. The mattress had definitely seen better days—I think it was trying to swallow me whole, as I felt like I was slowly sinking into the floor! The furniture was well worn, with noticeable discolouration and signs of age. There was half a jug of water left in the fridge from a previous guest, the shower soap dispensers were empty, the cupboards were dirty, and the linen had a few stains. The good news is that I can see plenty of potential here. A fresh coat of paint, some updated fixtures and furnishings, a new mattress, and a bit more attention to housekeeping would make a world of difference. With a little investment, this motel could be a much more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Overall was good, a bit more finer cleaning to remove cobwebs on the ceiling would be appropriate, mattress was a little springy. Tv wouldn't turn on.

Breakfast was advertised online as part of the package for $25pp, however guests were advised that this could not be charged back to the room - and was no longer available. Dining room at location was closed for an "inspection" on Tuesday and guests were not advised. Disappointing for workers travelling and unable to get a meal at chosen accommodation.

Nothing to like about this overnight stay. Staff were dismissive and left me waiting past 2pm check in time in an unattended office. My room was disgusting and very dirty. Most surfaces were coated in dust, cobwebs, grit all over the tiled floors. Every piece of cutlery, plates, cups and glasses were dirty and unwashed. Kettle covered in grime inside and out. The shower curtain looked like a crime scene (covered in blood smears). I wanted to leave an hour after checking in but only stayed because I was fatigued from driving and needed to sleep. There was also a broken lounge chair in the room with the side arm missing. The fabric was horrid and it should be thrown away. Honestly, there was nothing to like and I believe that I should be refunded for my stay. The worst experience ever. Booking.com I suggest you read the reviews. There are a lot of negative comments just like mine. This 'motel' should be shut down or removed from Booking.com.

Big, spacious room and bathroom, very clean, couch in the room, even a dining table. Bathroom had lots of space for your toiletries, towels, clothes. Nothing fancy but good enough for spending a night during your travels.

The front of the room outside was dirty, dry mud everywhere, cushions on the chairs had some strange spots, wouldn't want to sit on them.
