Price gouging for terrible accommodation and cleaning is unacceptable. Management/Owners need to take a long hard look at this place. Will never stay there again nor recommend to anyone. Due to family reasons, we had a rush trip to Adelaide, costing $926 for 3 nights, we expected so much better. There was hair on desk and ‘dressing table’, bathroom vanity and bathroom floor. Mould in shower, hard bed, flat pillows, cracked/broken/patched tiles at the base of the spa. The bathroom flyscreen was damaged and didn’t fit properly, even if we wanted to open the window. Room curtains need a wash. We had 1 soap, 1 each of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner supplied for 2 people for 3 nights. After not receiving any cleaning/toiletries on the second day, especially additional soap, I spoke to Reception and was told only serviced every 3 days. The pool was very clean, linen was clean and reception staff were lovely. She did apologise and offered additional toiletries and ‘Full service’ on our room, to which I declined, but they did it anyway but only made the bed, clean towels, left dirty glasses, spoons and mug. The was terrible cigarette smoke aroma in the passageway near our room, with people sitting on the stairs smoking. Absolutely disgusted after paying such a premium price. Yes, it was the week prior to Gather Round but if I was from interstate, it was not a great impression for tourists.

It was close to where my husband was in hospital

The room was very sad. Bed was comfortable and bedding was extremely clean as was the towels they were soft and smelt fresh, but the bathroom needs a revamp . The walls had salt damp on it. Cupboards were very old fridge froze food that was In it. Bathroom door didn't close properly without lifting it. Shower screen didn't close properly vanity needs revamp too . I did notice some rooms were renovated but more need to be too. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I enjoyed chatting with them.
