St Francis Winery

The great things about this hotel were the staff friendliness and helpfulness, and the peaceful forest-like setting. A special thankyou to rachel who was the housekeeper there, she is super friendly and helpful, and made our stay that much better. Rachel helped me up the stairs when i first got there, took my bags up the stairs, i'm a little disabled so i was grateful for the help. All of the staff there were friendly and professional and very helpful

There was nothing that i didn't like about this hotel, except that the bar fridge could have had more space in it, it was tiny.

Food was excellent. Staff very accomodating and friendly. Room was value for money. Pool and grounds maintained excellently. Great water pressure in shower and spa.

Bed was comfortable but could have been better. Room needed maintenance eg painting and spruce up.

Beds comfortable, good size room and bathroom, lovely outside space

No chairs to sit in , only sit on beds. There was 1 bar stool to sit on but not to relax, Rooms were upstairs but didn’t realise, my mistake.

Room needs an upģrade...very dated

Great location to where we were going. We have stayed here many times and will again. The gardens and large trees really set the scene. Basic amenities, however, they meet our needs. While we didn't need much, the staff went out of there way to help.

This time, our bed was not too comfortable, the mattress has seen better days, we both woke up with sore backs. Of the evening and with an event being held at the hotel, the noise outside of our room from people talking.

Availability

My bedding felt damp like it hadn’t completely dried after being washed. Cockroach’s in the bathroom

The shower in my room had towels around the bottom, not sure what for?
