Extended Stay America Suites New Orleans Metairie

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Room #1 had absolutely NO HOT WATER - the room itself had a stale smell to it - the bed was very wobbly, we had no ice at the hotel, the towels also didn’t look clean - so I went to the local Target a purchased some, call and went the the front desk several times no one was there so we couldn’t get a new room until the next day. Finally got someone from the front desk to come to the room she was very unprofessional and on her cell phone the entire time, I will NEVER STAY at another Extended Stay ever again.

Hotel is pretty run down and wasn’t clean. The room also had a smoke odor.

Beaui Experience

Got there, charged $100 deposit (Have yet to receive back) check into the room. Go to untuck the sheets & numerous URINE STAINS on the sheets. I go tell front desk & there a lack of concern as if this happens normally. Got to get my refund & was not given an other accommodations other than new sheets & shrugged shoulders.

The staff was very friendly and luckily the other hotel guests were not noisy, but it was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. There was hair in the tub and on the counter when I arrived. No drain cover on the bathroom drain so you could see all the hair caught in the drain. Stains and damaged areas all over the carpet and bathroom counter. Lots of the furniture in the room was severely damaged. There was lots of mold growing around the vent at the elevator lobby that had been painted over. It's clear the entire place has not been kept up for years. I wasn't expecting much for what I paid, but I was definitely not expecting it to be that dirty. Also, it says breakfast is included, but they don't offer any breakfast. There is only a small coffee bar.

Our flight was arriving before check-in so I called and asked about an early check in and was told that when we arrived, they would check and see if something was ready. When we arrived, the man at the counter would not check but simply said check in was at 3:00! We came back at 2:46 and he gave the same response!! 14 minutes before the time he could not have cared less.

Low talker check in clerk, tiny roaches in the room and guests next door up all night shouting and slamming doors! Not the best hotel stay I’ve ever had by far…..

We checked in and went to room. The door was already open. We were told that repair workers must have left it opened. We go to unloading and found a couple of the lamps not working. The following day we go back up to the room and our key don’t work. Asked worker to try his key and it still won’t open. Went back down and had two more keys made and both keys won’t open the door. We ask the cleaning lady to try her master key and it still won’t open. We go back down and the desk clerk says she will try her key and still won’t open. At this time it has been almost an hour trying to get into our room. They finally get us a new room but all our belongings are still in the original room. About thirty minutes later they finally get the door opened. We get our belongings moved to the new room. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
