Suburban Studios Chattanooga Northeast - Ooltewah

First off, the hallways and rooms stunk really bad with a nasty weird odor. If you wanted coffee, you were out of luck, no coffee pot and the lobby was locked up tight. The bed was like sleeping on bricks. When I woke in the morning, I had 6 really big welps where something bit me. There was no shampoo and only 1 bar of soap to share with the sink and tub. The shower leaked more water then what was spraying out of the nozzle. The TV cable was constantly losing connection to the point it wasn’t worth watching anything. Was constantly woken up by the loud, rude people in the hallways. Worst place I’ve ever stayed and won’t be going there again. It didn’t deserve even one star but it wouldn’t let me leave no stars.

I stayed here on an airline voucher due to a maintenance issue. In retrospect I should have booked my own room at a different hotel. The people who checked me in were wonderful! Very kind and helpful. The non-smokling room, however, was horrible. It was poorly kept and smelled horribly of smoke. I opened the window to let in some fresh air, but it didn't help. As it turns out the ventilation system of the non-smoking room is connected to the smoking rooms. This defeats the purpose of having a non-smoking room. The towels and blanket were threadbare.

My fiancé and I stayed here on our way home from Florida to PA. When he finally gets tired, he has to stop. We missed the exit before the one that this hotel is at, that had better selection of hotels to stay at. First impression is we have an insulated bag with items in it that needed refrigerated and the refrigerator was warm, as in not working. The front desk offered us a different room to stay in that had a refrigerator that works in it, but that room was warm, like the air conditioning might be broken and the room didn’t smell fresh or clean, so we stayed where we are. The sheets are not smooth/soft sheets. I am nervous to go to sleep in the room.

For a low budget hotel this place was great. Kudos to the maid whose name I did not get but she was GREAT and HUGE KUDOS to Shawna and Erica who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Those girls are HUGE assets to this hotel. Okay I had a first floor room with family in 4 other rooms. The beds were VERY comfortable. The rooms were very LARGE. The rooms were AMAZINGLY QUIET!!! You probably could have fit another bed in our room. The air conditioner was AMAZING! The pool water was as clear as glass. I did not eat the continental breakfast but my other family did and were satisfied. One amazing thing about this hotel is their side landscaping is basically a garden!!! They had peas, peppers, and many other things planted and it looked like great landscaping. My daughter brought it to my attention and I looked out my window and saw the peas starting to come out. GREAT IDEA!!! We felt VERY safe and it was close to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum......about 4 miles away. I will definitely come back here. I have paid far more for far less. Thanks Shawna and Erica for making our family trip GREAT and for making us feel at home!!!

These people have THE WORST customer service I have ever encountered!!! Rude and pushy!! Checkout time is 11:00 am. At 10:55 am, they were banging on our door, telling us to leave!! As we were leaving, we noticed they were banging on someone else's door doing the same thing!! When my husband went to go hand in the room key card to the front desk, he waited at the counter, and a woman walked up and shouted with an accent, "What you want!". There are several other hotels in the vicinity. Don't pick this one!

After a long day's drive we exited I-75 at exit 5. There where numerous motels, but none that fit my budget and we checked several. All the motels we tried to get a room at advertised in the Tennessee Travel Guide didn't honor coupons on weekends. We drove about a mile north and came upon America Best. We checked in for about 1/2 the price at exit 5. I was a leery, but how bad could it be and we were moving on in 6 or 7 hours. The room was very clean. It had fast Wi-Fi, mini-fridge and micro wave oven.

We arrived in Chattanooga for our daughters 2 day tournement. Due to the horrible service at the super 8 hamilton place and the lack of availability we chose to try your hotel. Our room still smells of fresh paint and is a clean crisp remodel. We checked in on 4/7/17 and our first contact was a funny down to earth friendly understanding young lady. We appreciated her during our check in as we were still angry from before. More than we could have expected for the price! Great value and quality for the price! Thank you! Look forward to our next visit!

We actually booked another hotel in the area through expedia but when we got there it was overbooked. We drove to this place and got a room. The owner and his wife were working the front desk. Very nice people. Our room was clean and comfortable. They said there was no breakfast here but the lady offered us some cereal that was just fine by us. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because our wash clothes and towels were stained. Great location off the highway and quiet.

Had the unpleasant chance to stay here with our group of 14 while enroute to ohio after being evacuated from Orlando. The place was filthy. The toilet in our room had drops of urine on the seat and the floor has not been cleaned in years. Breakfast area dirty. Made what was already a bad day-worse.

Pictures are not accurate! Hotel smells old and musty! Employees are rude! And on top of that very cheap! Had to count towels in the room before they would give extras and the breakfast was a joke! No fruit, no eggs, and mini chocolate and powdered donuts? Really? They all acted like we were going to steal something!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
