Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, that is the ONLY good thing I have to say about this hotel. Overall smell of hotel was awful. The smell of smoke in the room was enough to make you sick. Dirty pillowcases. Filthy chairs in the room. Burn holes in the sheets. The electrical outlet behind the bed was hanging by the wires!! We should have just slept in our car...but didn't feel safe in the parking lot.

I haven't encountered a hotel in this price range that was so poorly run and poorly maintained! Check in was a work in progress even though I had made a reservation via Americas Best Value Inn website. Hotel is very tired and it seems that the franchisee's are trying to cover it up with a poor paint job. The bathroom was disgusting to say the least. Toilet not secured to floor, seat maybe 25 yrs. old and mold in the shower. Sorry paint doesn't cover that up. Lastly, the continental b'fast was as skimpy as I've ever seen!

We stayed here for 1 night due to bad weather, and it was the worst experience. The smell of cigarette smoke was extremely pungent. Even though we asked for a non smoking room all we could smell was smoke. And the window was broken and it was snowing outside. We all slept maybe 3 hours total.

Bottom line, if you can afford to stay somewhere nice and up to date, do so. When you are use to something nice, a hotel like this will not cut it. We as consumers need to start demanding more for our money. The hotel and the location were okay, my issue is how bad my room smelled. All hotels need to do away with carpet and revert to hardwood floors, that would solve a lot of problems, but my room smelled, the furniture was old and musty, the microwave and refrigerator didn't work, it was just totally disgusting. I will not be back. The prices was okay, but I couldn't sleep because of the smell, the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, I ask for a non-smoking room, but I could still smell smoke in the air. I am just pissed, I just go off a 10 hour work shift and it's raining and this room smells like piss. All I can say is I will not be back and I don't recommend. Just remember you get what you pay for.

I had called this place about an hour and half before we reached Chattanooga and was quoted a price of $59.99 and the clerk said they had plenty of rooms available at 10:30 at night. When we arrived there was shift change and she charged me $69.99 and would not accept what the man had told me earlier and they only had one room available which was on the second floor with no elevator. I am a member of their value club and she would not give me my 15% discount. She said she's giving me the lowest rate already. The room seemed clean just outdated but housekeeping had missed a washcloth left from previous customers hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Housekeeping could not understand English so I had to show her what an extra laundry bag was.

We stayed here because the place we had already paid for was a crack motel, this place wasn't too much better, it's kind of a flop away from home for Mexican construction workers that sit outside after work and drink beer in the parking lot, we woke up and there had been two trucks that had been broken into, glass shattered all over where they had been parked...it's also far away from any Chattanooga tourist areas, like 16 miles from downtown and about 12 from Ruby Falls and Rock City.

The staff is always wonderful and its a bang for your buck love staying there and will continue to while I make that trip to work once or twice a week.the beds are wa yh comfortable aNd if you get a non smok I ng room you get a flat screen tv.

Yes I will definitely stay there again. Free breakfast, microwave and refrigerator in room, free WiFi. Very comfortable and affordable. Friendly staff as well. Free coffee in room every day. Great for attending my training every time i am in Chattanooga. Stores and restaurants close by as well.
