Guests highly rate the nice place and frequently praise the comfortable bed.
Pubic hairs on sheets, holes in bedspreads, sticky counters, hairdryer missing, no coffee cups for breakfast, no juice, and the only options for breakfast were yogurt and bananas, plus about 4 pre-packaged pastries. No napkins. Asked for more towels and the clerk said the housekeeper would bring them an hour and half later when she got there. Spilled yogurt in the lobby and asked for paper towels to clean it up with, and the clerk said she didn’t have any and sat back down. Someone eventually did a halfway job of cleaning it up and just left it smeared on the floor, creating a bigger slip hazard. Would not recommend.
Beds comfortable. TV was satisfactory. Heat and air satisfactory. Bathroom lacked tub safety bars for getting in and out the tub. Lacked hot water for showers on 5-13-23. Lacked rack for hanging clothes! Carpet stained, and in need of replacement or cleaning! We will not use this facility in the future. Thank you Mary Jane Wall
My many choices in the rural area
The room was dirty. The shower was not clean. The floor of the shower looked like dirt was in the grooves and you could see soap scum/hard water build up on the walls of the shower. The gym is closed for “renovation” until further notice but you can see it’s being used as a storage room.
If you want a worn-out, badly-maintained, slightly-dirty place to stop overnight for a fairly low price, this is your place.
Lousy excuse for "breakfast"
The property was clean and maintained. The breakfast wasn’t much just yogurt and a packaged honey bun.
This property is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, and that includes travel around the world. It was dirty with insects crawling the walls in the room and construction debris in the hallways and staircase. The free breakfast was coffee, a yogurt, and a packaged danish. The gym was closed due to COVID (?) but it was obviously closed as an excuse to use it as a storage room for all sorts of furniture, mattresses, and equipment. There are a lot of people living at the hotel, and the outdoor gazebo was full around the clock with smokers and others just hanging around. There are signs at the front desk that indicate you will be charged for everything-- a lost key card, printing, etc etc
Our microwave seemed to be possessed and would randomly beep. I guess that was why it was unplugged. There was no free breakfast at all. I was out running the Cloudsplitter but my wife stayed the whole weekend. Not bad for such a small town.
The place is an older motel but clean. Nothing fancy but i wanted a place to sleep while on business in the area and it worked for me. Not Holiday Inn nice but adequate for what i needed.
