"Disappointing Experience Despite a Good Breakfast"

We stayed at the Embassy Suites for a family trip, and unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal. While check-in went smoothly at first, things quickly took a turn. We asked for three room keys since there were three adults in our party who would need independent access. Only one key actually worked. When we asked for replacements, we were told the machine was down and they’d bring them later—but that never happened. It didn’t make much sense, especially since one key had already been successfully made. Upon entering the room, we noticed right away that the toilet paper roll was nearly empty. Knowing there were five of us staying in the room, we requested extra towels and toilet paper early on. It took four separate requests and until nearly 11:00 p.m. to finally receive them ( we checked in around 4:30). That kind of delay just isn't acceptable, especially for basic necessities. On a positive note, breakfast was great—probably the highlight of our stay. But the rooms themselves were in need of some serious updates. Our bathtub was heavily discolored, and both bed headboards were falling apart. It didn’t feel like the standard we expected from an Embassy Suites. Overall, the lack of responsiveness from staff and the condition of the room made for a frustrating stay. We’d recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re only coming for the breakfast.

"Good"

The bathroon door was mIssing the lower 1/4th. There were signs of water damage on the doors. The carpet was dirty. I have stayed at other Embassy Suites before, but by far this is the worst of all. I am not sure why they are still letting this place run under this name.

"Adventurous"

Our assigned room had a non working air conditioner so they had to move us. They were out of double queens so they put us in two king rooms. All good after that until a guest decided to smoke under a smoke detector which then caused all elevators to shut down. After 3 hours of being unable to restore them, they sent an employee to help us bring all of our stuff down from the 6th floor. He was awesome. His name is Leroy and he isn’t even a front desk or maintenance staff member—I believe he works in the restaurant—way to go Leroy—who by the way would not accept a tip!!!!

"Excellent"

Our stay was 2days! Very friendly staff! Easy check -in! Breakfast was really good & large selection of food! The only downfall was a noise in the air conditioner that was annoying during early & late hours periodically! We managed to get through it! Also-too add-the shower curtain didn’t keep water from going on the floor during use of the shower! Otherwise it was a great place ti stay!

We arrived almost 2 hrs after check in time and our room was still not ready! They wanted to make us wait longer but we needed to change because we were going out. I suggested they give us another room, which couldn't accommodate the number of people in our party, to wait in until ours was ready. They begrudgingly obliged. They continued to add that our original reserved room would be ready when we came back. 6 hrs later, it again was not, and they also did not hold our room for us! Due to lack of communication within their staff, the lady at the front desk was not aware that we were waiting for our room. Because of that, we had to wait another 15 minutes or so while she looked through the system for an available room. She was finally able to find one, which according to her, was the only one available. We get to our room and it's not entirely clean, it smells musty and the beds were super uncomfortable. It was not a good experience, and definitely not for what we paid for it. Needless to say, I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

"Dated Property, Bad Management -- STAY AWAY"

Just stay away from this one. You have been warned. The hotel is older and in need of an update. But that aside, the front desk has just been one hot mess from the moment I got here -- full of contradictions. When I arrived, I asked about the airport shuttle and if it only ran at the top of the hour because I needed to leave about 3:30am for an early flight. The manager on duty told me that at that time of morning that would be no problem and I could return my rental car. So I did, and when I went to double check about the shuttle that evening, they said they would only go on the hour and I had to either go at 3am (which would have me sitting at the airport before the ticketing counter opens) or 4am (which would leave me uncomfortably little time before my flight boards). The evening manager was young and inexperienced and all he could say is "that is the policy," even though his daytime counterpart said the opposite and t they in fact sent the shuttle TO THE RENTAL CAR CENTER to get me when I called them and not at the top of any hour. Choose one of the other airport hotels, because nothing about this place is worth the money.

There were Couple of speed bumbs during trip. Manager Jamie was right on top of it. Very calm, friendly, and attentive. Great person for the job and very reassuring that they would make sure we were taking care of. We stay here every time we are in Dallas. We love this Hotel and will definitely be booking again.

"Definitely worth it!"

This is my 20th stay at this hotel. My room was the coldest it has ever been. While the room could use some updates, I understand that will take some time. I met the new manager James shared my concerns with him and was very impressed with his response to my concerns. I recommend this hotel for the hospitality of the staff and the care they have shown me and my family. Laura and Rasmi at the bar were great and always willing to make our nights the best! Ashley and Edgar at front desk always remember me and just makes it for an easier check in!
