Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport South

I would not recommend staying here. First of all, there are so many ants that they’ve started crawling into my suitcase - and I’m on the 9th floor. Also, my pillows are super cheap cotton that are all broken down and lumpy. I had 4 of them and not one was of any quality at all. I did call down and ask for a better pillow for my second night and housekeeping brought me 6 down pillows to replace them. But why didn’t I just get these better ones in the first place? Also, this place is so outdated that they don’t have one USB outlet anywhere and the front desk lady acted like I was ridiculous when I asked if they had any converters I could borrow. Umm… I typically stay in modern hotels that have more USB’s than regular outlets these days, sorry for expecting you to have entered the year 2025. And my headboard is literally peeling off. It felt so gross that my pillows were touching it. Oh, and not only is it by the airport, always a perk (convenience) and a drawback (airplane noise), but it’s also at the literal intersection of two major highways. And since this hotel was built in 1970 (just a guesstimate), the windows are so thin that you can hear every car as if you’re sitting on the patio watching them all drive by, there is no buffer. It is so loud that I’ve checked my windows multiple times to see if they were accidentally left open a crack. They aren’t, they just suck. They do serve breakfast, and it is decent. They also have a bar and a free happy hour, so that’s a perk for some I’m sure. And they have an indoor pool that I didn’t use, so I can’t say if it’s ok or not. For me, I’d rather pay for breakfast and have a good nights sleep, with a decent pillow, the ability to charge my phone, and hear my TV without blasting the volume so I can hear over all the highway traffic. I wouldn’t stay here again. Ever. Shame on Hilton for not taking better care of their facilities and better pride in their brand.

All the A/C were broke in the rooms and they didn’t have any availability for them to accommodate us with another room. We had to return to Houston that same night, I have yet to receive a refund from the hotel have not been able to get in contact with anyone.

Older Hotel

Room was filthy. And the air conditioning did not work at all. Rather expensive hotel and it’s terrible. And the staff refused to accommodate.

It's time for an update. Walls paint falling, phone line cut,

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 12 people. When arriving to our room there were only 3 towels in each room and we did not receive bedding for our pull out sofas. The rooms are extremely outdated. The bathrooms are very tiny. They did renovate the middle of the hotel to look nice but the comfort of staying there was awful. The A/C did not work in one of the rooms. I had to request bedding and towels three times. I also requested at the end of our first night if they could change all our bedding out and they didn’t even touch one of the rooms and did a rush job on the second! Stay away from this location!!! We stayed at better Holiday Inn expresses! Not sure If I will ever use an embassy suites again, but I will make sure I read reviews and take them seriously.

The toilet was leaking. Took over two hours to get us a new room. Some weed and vaping happening inside.

On Friday, as soon as I got to my room I noticed there was no shampoo (empty) bottle in shower. A man at the lounge area was loud and harassing me Saturday night. He was taken away by police. On Sunday my entry door just stopped working. It took over an hour for maintenance to come and they left without fixing it. They did not communicate the problem to the front desk person that tried to come back up with me and open it without a physical key. I told him he needed a key, but he had to see for himself. I finally got fed up with the staff. Once they got the door open, I slid my plastic key over the latch hole when I left the room so the door would not lock. I did this , leaving my room unlocked when I was gone. I did this for the rest of my stay. Rm 307

Cleaning could have been a little better. not all of the lights and outlets worked and took awhile for the AC to cool the room down

Very nice Hotel. Great and easy check in, very polite girls. Restaurant is delicious
