"Urgent- Do Not Stay Here"

I was moved three times within the first hour. The original room I picked via the Hilton app was 1001 on the 10th floor right by the elevator, with a north-facing view of the Dallas skyline and parking lot but it wasn’t ready. Then 1013 had workers still inside when we walked in. We had to walk all the way back down with my kids. Finally, we were placed in 1017. That room had no hot water, a broken wall safe, exposed insulation behind the TV, a huge white stain in the chair, and the sink backed up the next morning. I was traveling alone with three kids and had to manage all of this myself. I spoke with a manager, Seth, who promised to refund the 40,000 points and to make things right give him “24 hours”. He asked me to share the pictures I took by texting him personally, I did. Yet no follow-up. Just silence. I believe he blocked me because it just gives a busy signal now.. Less than two hours after I checked out, Hilton terminated my entire Honors account, even though this stay was part of a 40,000-point goodwill gesture from Guest Assistance. Absolutely disheartening. I feel punished for speaking up about a hotel failing to meet even basic standards.

"RESORT QUALITY EXPERIENCE"

The hotel is beautiful on the inside and out. The interior featured a waterfall, grand piano, two bars, and breakfast area. There is also a steakhouse style restaurant. Their prices were out of our budget so we did not try it. The large resort like pool was conveniently located to the common area so we could sit and enjoy some cocktails while our teenagers swim. There was also an ample supply of pool towels. My husband and I enjoyed the margaritas at happy hour. We had no problem unlocking the door to our room and the air conditioning was blowing snowballs. That was exciting, especially after reading some of the other reviews. The carpet, paint, and furniture do show some wear and tear, but the room was exceptionally clean. The cosmetic issues did not bother us at all. There was also a small balcony that the teenage girls enjoyed. The hot, made to order breakfast choices were also delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, were impressed with everything, and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

"Stay elsewhere "

Stayed one night due to late flight arrival. I was disappointed in the condition of the room. As a professional builder I have an eye for detail but it was easy to see that the rooms haven’t been renovated in many years possibly not at all since it was built in the 80s. All the renovations were done to public areas which was very nice but not the rooms ( we were in 329). In all my years of construction I’ve never seen a 30inch wide bathroom door (delaminating ) or a toilet that far off a wall causing poor accessibility to the tub! The carpet looked to be original and the room smelled a bit musty. The sofa bed mattress that my teen wanted to sleep on was appalling…all springs with some foam rubber really? My advice to travelers stay across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn instead .

"Shady place to stay"

We booked 2 rooms for One night to catch a flight next early morning. Two bags DISAPPEARED from our transit from Hotel to the Airport Terminal. We were the first ones to get off as well. So there is no possibility of the bags being taken by some other passengers. Besides it was just two gentlemen from AA flight crew with us and one lone passenger. Hotel staff has no concern of our personal property “stolen” from their premises. We are told they do not have camera footage. Manager on duty says all he can do is file an Incident Report to the Corporate. Pathetically Unprofessional and very Shady.

"Embassy Suites Irving Texas"

This has always been our favorite hotel. We have always been diamond members up until we retired and my husband no longer travels as much as he did before. We recently stayed at Embassy suites DFW South in Irving,Texas. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 40 years. It is shocking to see how much it has gone down hill. We checked in around 5:00 PM, our room still was not ready. They gave us another room. We went to that room, but we were unable to get in. We had to go back downstairs for them to assign us another room. We went to that room. The key did not work and the keyless entry on my phone did not work. We had to go back downstairs again and get another key. One of the keys worked one of the keys didn’t work. We went in the room wanted to put our valuables in the safe, but it did not work. The vent in the bathroom did not work and the sink drained extremely slowly. The TV in the living room area did not work. It said no connection. We reported these things and they said they would have everything fixed by noon the next day. It is now 5:00 PM the next day and nothing has been done. The safe only needs a battery, but they told us they did not have a battery. They would have it fixed by noon today, still no battery. Nothing done Happy hour has been cut down to two small drinks. They are 6 ounce glasses. The gym is a disaster. Equipment is broken. We had planned to stay here for our next four trips coming up in the next two months but we will be cancelling those. I love Hilton but just not this ragged out hotel.

"Bad shuttle service"

I had to call 3 time to get the shuttle and wait 1.5 hrs. It’s a very long time to wait after taking flight No shampoo in the room And the floor bathroom still all wet
