Friendly staff Nice clean room

Air con was not that cold Water tap was not working near ice station Snobby fellow guests acting like they are at a 5* hotel when it’s a 3*

Location was perfect the hotel staff were really great and the hotel was 1st class

The remodel of the historic building is beautiful, tasteful and up to date with just enough whimsy. The queen rooms were cozy but not cramped for one person; if I came back with my partner I would book a bigger room. Our family is originally from Santa Barbara so my dad really liked seeing all the historic photos along the hallways, many of which date to his grandparents' time.

OK, this is so small, but my dad asked for change to tip housekeeping and was denied, but when I asked for the same thing somebody went into the back office and found change. There is an ATM in the lobby that spits out $20 bills. It would be a nice practice to keep change on hand and empower desk staff to use it. I think you might see the tips for valets and housekeeping increase, which would make staff and guests happier at no expense to the business.

Room was beautifully upgraded and updated. This room was specifically for 1 person. Luxurious linens and bed spread. I had stayed there 3 years before, and this room definitely seemed remodeled compared to the room I stayed in earlier .I love the historic feel of the hotel. On same block as shopping/restaurants..was able to book far in advance for this stay and got a great rate.

Valet parking is your only option, but valet staff was quick and courteous. I don't remember if there was a place to get water in the lobby or water filling stations anywhere in the hotel.

A localização é perfeita, na principal rua com lojas e restaurantes. O quarto é amplo, limpo e bem decorado e ainda nos oferecem um mimo, uma garrafa para água, onde vc pode abastecer no próprio corredor do hotel. Outra ponto positivo é que o hotel oferece estacionamento apesar de não ser barato é uma comodidade a mais

The interiors are beautiful. The hotel is clean and has good little gym.

Unfortunately our room was right in the street and on a Saturday night the heavy thud of music kept us awake into the early hours. If you are visiting on a weekend, try to request a room away from the main street…
