Quality Inn & Suites Crescent City Redwood Coast

This hotel was just ok. It's older and could definitely use some updating. We booked it for the ocean view, and while you could technically see the water, it was not worth the price we paid. We did appreciate the little gym, but we will stay somewhere else next time we're in Crescent City.

Kind of run down. Pictures are deceiving. Not a lot of chiices at breakfast and not enough seating. Food luke warm. Staff not friendly

We had to wait until 1:00 for the staff to return after a tsunami warning and shift change. We waited in our vehicle for two hours.

Small town America, and especially the West Coast in Northern and Oregon, has apparently not had a hotel building boom in the last 30 years or so because old locations are about what you find on the otherwise spectacular trip. The Quality Inn has the older site's dearth of electrical plugins and absence of digital connections (USB). I got my morning exercise tugging ferociously on the shower knob to start the water flowing - fearing all the while that I was going to break something. OTOH the bed was comfortable. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. And there is nothing to sit on in the room but the bed and a rolling desk chair. For one night this is acceptable.

The first room they gave me the door was open when I got to it the sliding glass door didn’t have a lock and there was a weird attic crawl space in the ceiling. The second room was ground floor and at least had locking doors.

Awful experience. Expedia should not list. Dirty, plumbing was broke. Had to move rooms after hauling all of our belongings up flights of stairs. We had to cover the bed in the second room in towels and used our own blankets to get a few hours of rest before we drove on. There was mold, sand in the beds, what we hope was mud on the sheets. Dog hair on the sheets. Screen door was propped up against the frame. Terrible! 😣 I have pictures if required

Courteous employees. Clean property and rooms. Convenient location for us.

The staff does a great job. However the property is tired and needs many repairs. I would recommend staying at a different hotel if visiting the area.
