Quality Inn & Suites Crescent City Redwood Coast

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. It is definitely one of those older stucco motel buildings, so I was a little leary about booking a room there. But the rooms are really, really, nice.

Comfortable bed, clean room, great staff. Not many great choices in Crescent City & this would be my go-to from now on.

Overall a pretty decent stay. Only complaints is parking is a little weird with a decent walk to the rooms and the bathroom needs more ventilation and a new shower rod. The location is top notch for the Redwood National Parks. Stayed here two nights and it worked out fine for us.

Too expensive for what one gets. Looks a lot like a partially remodeled Motel 6. Bathroom is tiny. Wooden toilet seat had chipped paint.

This hotel stole almost 400 dollars from us! We had a TERRIBLE experience with this hotel, staff, and manager. We are still struggling with a financial issue over a month after our stay. We were supposed to stay two nights back in June. I called about three days before to confirm that they would have a late/after hours check-in available for us. They said yes. I called the day of to triple check and we were told once again that someone would be there at midnight when we were due to arrive. Sure enough, when we arrived, no one was there. We had to get a more expensive hotel. When we went to the Quality Inn the next day, the manager told us that both nights would be comped. However, they still accidentally charged a no-show fee of almost 200 dollars. I had to call almost a dozen times over a month before someone finally told us the fee would be refunded. After two more weeks, it still was not refunded. I had to call several more times before FINALLY getting to talk to the manager who said he would refund it. Instead of refunding it, he charged the exact same fee AGAIN. This hotel owes us almost 400 dollars! We had to finally just dispute the claims on our credit card, and it's been a nightmare. So unprofessional and WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

Hot water in tub would not shut off, no elevator, needs a total gut. All the window screens were bent or holey, not usable. Not technologically up to date. Please bulldoze at your earliest convenience.
