Holiday Inn Maidenhead Windsor by IHG

Firstly, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and main communal areas clean, tidy and updated, nice play area for children.The Bedroom and bathroom were clean, functional but dated, bed was comfy. Minuses were, Not enough sockets for this modern age,light stains on the carpet and marks on the desk and side tables. And no USB ports. There was a fridge to use which was nice to see but as the seal was damaged it wasn’t that effective. Breakfast was buffet and gave every choice you could think of, all cooked and delivered very well, one of the best breakfast we’ve had, a very good chef. The was only one real minus for us and that was the adjoining leisure facilities, Spirit. The access to it from outside is a health and safety nightmare, uneven paths, broken slabs, very run down and that impression continued inside. 3 ladies showers, 1 that was scolding hot, another hot and 3rd just right. In the mens the showers were cold. The jacuzzi was a joke, roughly 10mins on 10 mins off, no way of changing this but when it was on it barely caused a bubble and kept turning itself off,on,off etc..was informed pool was cold we left after 10mins. Hopefully this area will have some money spent on it soon as it is definitely the worse Spirit facility We have been to. Overall a pleasant stay, have read replies from staff saying an update for Hotel is on the horizon, will look forward to coming back when that’s completed.

II just stayed for one night as was attending a birthday party in the Maidenhead area. Everything was good - especially the bed and wifi !

Overpriced hotel

For the price we paid we were satisfied. Pool and changing are dirty and old. Rooms adequate Kids area terrible, only a few toys all incomplete and not working. Everywhere dates and untidy.

The hotel was fine if not just a little tired. Good location for what we needed. Breakfast very good. Reception staff seemed a little lacking in knowledge? Fridge in room set to 16 degrees ? That’s not a fridge

Looking very tired these days. Despite advertising for Rebellion beers (local brewery) only the lager was available.

It was all seamless from checking in the services was hood,rooms clean and a perfect breakfast to tound it all off

Stayed for a social engagement in Maidenhead. Service was fine with friendly staff although this Holiday Inn is still the same as when I stayed 25 years ago. It is badly in need of a refurbishment. Stained carpets, 80's decor. Premier Inns knock this for Six.

Very well placed for motorway links yet very peaceful. Good sized room well equipped and comfortable clean and well functioning bathroom. Good parking facilities. Breakfast facilities good lots of choice. Excellent value for money.

Pleased with our one night stay generally. We booked a standard room. It was a bit tied but clean. Our main problem was that the room was so warm, only one of the windows would open and the air con didn’t do its job as centrally controlled. Nice breakfast. Very pleasant staff.
