Holiday Inn Maidenhead Windsor by IHG

The room was on the warm side with no adjustment except to open a window. The evening server confused our bill with the next table but sorted it out. The service overall was very friendly and mostly good.

Clean modern hotel

The sink plug did not work....and please supply stronger and better toilet paper.....The rest of our stay was fine.

Nothing was too much trouble, staff were great, from F&B to reception, late checkout and allocated all rooms together.

Bedding was dirty, chips in the mugs. Shower curtain was ripped and there was little holes in the curtains. Cleaners would just walk in the room barely having knocked first or evening giving you a second to get out of bed, so the following day I put the sign on the door to not disturb me and they still knock on the door. The pool was cold and sauna and steam room was in the changing rooms so as being on a couples holiday we were unable to use them together.

Not happy sitting in the bar area with little children screaming and running the length of the room between the buffet and the play area. No supervision or parental control.

The coffee from the Starbucks is really not of the same quality as one would expect of a Starbucks. Very bitter and not well made.

Public areas are now looking jaded, bar and restaraunt would benefit from noise absorbant surfaces. Many staff appeared unsure of their role. The room was comfortable and all the services worked.

The bedroom was nice and big and very clean. the waiting staff in the restaurant (4 young guys) was poor, perhaps they need more supervision and or training. The Lasagne was also poor... more like soup :( I would not have it again there.

Very clean and conveniently located at a walking distance to train station and city center. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Manager Carlos is always accessible to guests. Nice location. A
