Hampton Inn Lake Havasu City

This hotel is beautiful and has a lot to offer. However it needs major TLC. One of the two elevators was broke. All three treadmills in workout center were broke, 75% of the ice machines were broke, breakfast was moderate. The door handle on our shower fell off the first day. Carpet needs replacement. It is really a shame because you can see the lake from most rooms, has a beautiful pool and yet is run down.

Noisy group of, apparently drunk, individuals in a nearby room kept us awake for several hours (11:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.). We called the front desk to report, but unsure if any action was taken. I don't blame the hotel for booking or hosting the group, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

Breakfast was great! The hotel hallways and elevator were quite dirty when we arrived....

You need to know that 2 out of 3 elevators on the property are not functioning and you will be required to use a cramped service elevator in the back of the complex. When you complain, the desk clerk will blame you somehow. How bad is the treatment here? As a Hilton Honors member for over two decades, I will be canceling my membership and NEVER booking a reservation at a Hilton property again. How bad the experience to change my go-to first choice in any lodging situation, to never again. Ever. I will go out of my way to avoid Hiltons due to the absolute plummet of their customer service from Top-Notch, to, the absolute hell of blaming the customer for their own dismal service

We were guests of the Hampton Inn in Lake Havasu City, AZ for 2 nights. It was our first visit there. I’ve been a Hilton Diamond member for years and have stayed at Hilton owned properties worldwide. This was the worst that I’ve ever stayed. First the check in, the desk reception did not acknowledge my loyalty, nor offer the snack that we were entitled to. We entered the room and found things slightly off. The chair in the corner was not accessible because the table was pushed onto it. The refrigerator door did not close tightly and the bathroom was not the cleanest. I don’t think the tile floor has been cleaned for months. The coffee filter from the previous guest was still in the coffee maker. And if you only service the room every other day, more cups are needed. The AC was barely working because the buttons had been worn off. We should have asked for another room, but we had a lot of luggage because we were traveling with our dogs and couldn’t fathom moving. 2 of the elevators were out of order and we even got stuck in one for a short time. Upon checking out, I was not asked how my stay was and I don’t think they would’ve cared anyway. Needless to say, we will not return and I will be letting Hilton Honors know about our stay.
