Extended Stay America Suites - Phoenix - Midtown

The staff was mostly friendly, but the place was so bad, there was only so much they could do.

The whole facility was gross. The hallways smelled like cat urine, which wafted into the room. It was so bad (and the staff acknowledged the odor) that when I asked for air freshener, I was given a can of industrial odor neutralizer. The room was very dated. The counters in the kitchenette were stained. The refrigerator had broken drawers and the shelves were dirty with spilled food on them. The kitchen utensils (I had to request) were old and did not look sanitary so I did not use them. The dishwasher was disgustingly dirty inside. There was only I chair in the entire room, although I paid for a king suite. There was only 1 lamp in the entire suite, which was on one side of the bed. There was no dresser or TV in the bedroom although the website shows otherwise. No alarm clock, We had to put our suitcases on the floor since there was no table or dresser. There was no work station or desk. I asked for a table for the room, and the staff seemed surprised that I would want one, which they did provide. The shower curtain was dirty and stained upon arrival. I requested a new one, which they gave me, but I had to replace it myself. Some of the bath towels were stained. Whenever I requested new towels I had to take my dirty towels to the front desk first. The couch was so bad that when I sat on it, I rolled to the middle and could not sit straight up in it. The back of the couch had stains. There was no coffee table. The bedroom door had been removed so there was no privacy. There were no toiletries in the room - not even soap. I had to request them. The room had a telephone, but it did not work, and maintenance could not get it to work. The air conditioner was broken and I sweated through the first night. They had to replace the unit. The water was completely off multiple times throughout our stay. We were not warned that this would happen, even though the staff knew it would happen. There was no grab and go breakfast...just coffee. The worst $500 ever spent!

The front desk lady was very rude and not accommodating. We were turned away, even after making the reservation. We were told that they did not have any available rooms. And there were five others behind me, who were also trying to check in.

We Arrived and the front desk said there was no more rooms and i did had reservation. It would have been kind of you guys to let us know that there were no no rooms upon arrival. I stay at this hotel once or twice a week. And I liked it but, it costed me stress and anxiety Because we had no other Reservations anywhere else.

The property it might ok from the outside view I totally disagree the room I paid $113 usd rated Luxury studio I can provide footage by email Plus I could not rest/sleep due continuous noises from above tenant, telephone didn’t work to place a complaint, so o had to walk over to request another room. They were sold out and I had no other choice. I request for full reimburse
