The room was not clean, personnel at the reception not friendly

This was the closet hotel to the hospital my wife was in and only used it as a place to lay my head at night. So when i booked and was confronted with balcony or non balcony options i chose unfortunately, as it turns out, the non balcony option as it was less expensive and wasn't ever going to need/want a balcony. While im not sure ALL non balcony rooms are on the North side of the property i know it is the majority (even numbers. The noise of the traffic on that north side of the building coming from 125th Street just a small parking lot away from the hotel was LOUD and certainly interrupted sleep numerous times throughout my several night stay. while the south side (balconies) do face a street it is a two lane road and while not residential it certainly would not see anyway near the quantity of traffic of that on the North side. The hotel it self if fine and the king room included a refrigerator and microwave. the other thing that i found weird was the TV and it basically except for maybe less than a handful of channels requires you to stream from your phone/tablet etc to get anything to watch. Maybe im paranoid but im not going to connect my personal device that has personal/banking info to a hotel wi-fi just to stream something to watch they do offer coffee in the lobby but no type of breakfast muffin etc that i saw

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over 15 years ago while my son attended Johnson and Wales University, and I’m thrilled to see such incredible improvements! The beds are unbelievably comfortable, and the rooms are spotless—kudos to your amazing cleaning staff! The addition of K-Cup coffee makers is a fantastic touch. Although we didn’t dine at the restaurant this time, it looks like a remarkable upgrade from the little diner I remember. Overall, I’m so impressed and can't wait to return! The front desk staff are super Smiley and Friendly. Great Staff!

The only issue is that your television or cable service did not offer enough channels. We seem to have more Spanish-speaking channels.
